We visited Sai Bhog Restaurant in Shirdi and honestly, the experience was quite disappointing, despite the nice ambience.
We ordered dosas, parathas, fried rice, and mojitos. The mojitos were overpriced, and the pudina leaves looked old and oxidized, not at all fresh.
When we ordered Manchurian Fried Rice, they mistakenly brought Mushroom Fried Rice. My hungry nephew had already taken a few bites before we realized it. When we pointed it out, the staff abruptly took the plate away without even asking, which felt very rude. Usually, restaurants handle such issues politely — replacing the dish and sometimes offering it as complimentary — but that didn’t happen here.
The second plate of Manchurian Fried Rice that they brought was also much smaller in quantity than the first one. To add to that, the waiter’s behaviour was unprofessional, gesturing with his hand for the bill instead of communicating properly.
Even the wash basin area was not clean, which added to the poor overall impression.

Read moreDear All, I would like to share my experience in “Saibhog Naivadyam Restaurant” in Shirdi. The Restaurant is located just beside the Temple near Gate No.3 & location wise you will find them the closest, when you come out from the temple. The menu rates found to be unrealistic, unreasonable & exorbitantly high. After having our breakfast, when I asked for the justification for the rates, it was clarified, the monthly rent is very high, which is being compensated thru the menu rates. Is it justified to loot the customers (devotees) this way, when they are located in such a prominent & Holi place ? Few of the menu rates are: Orange Juice – Rs. 165 (Though the Orange Rate is Rs. 100 for 2 KGs) Puri Bhaji – Rs. 195 Onion Uthapa – Rs. 175 Misal Pav – Rs. 145 Would like to request the devotees to avoid visiting them & strongly recommend the Restaurant Management to revisit the rates and make them justified, off course taking into consideration of the establishment & overhead costs at that...
Read moreThis morning, after having Baba’s darshan, we had breakfast at SaiBhog Udupi Restaurant in Sai Complex, opposite Gate No. 3. We ordered idli, vada, sambar, and plain dosa.
Unfortunately, the coconut chutney they served was spoiled—it had gone sour and smelled bad, clearly from yesterday’s batch. The medu vada was also half-cooked and seemed to be made with old batter.
When I informed the waiter that the chutney was spoiled and requested fresh chutney, he replied casually, “We have mixed yogurt in it.” Even the manager came and argued instead of apologizing or correcting the issue.
It was truly the worst quality and worst service. I told them, “If you are running a restaurant in Baba’s presence and serving such food, Baba himself will take...
