On 02 December 2020 I have visited Sagar restaurant buddhi lane Aurangabad with my family at 11pm. My experience is very bad. I ordered full plate of chicken angara costing RS 500, dal fry, chicken containment as starter which was not up to the expectation. Gravy of the chicken was totally tasteless & excessive spicy. Frankly speaking I am still feeling bad why I visited Sagar. My family got disappointed due to food quality. In addition to the bad quality of food my wife found one cockroach in the plate. All of us 6/7 members lost hunger n just decided to pack up from there due to which we left more than 60% of food. when asked to waiter about it he answered that due to lockdown cockroaches have been increased in the hotel. I was shocked with the answer as why he is putting the fact instead of maintaining hygiene. I informed to the owner/manager about incidence. He discounted 90 rs from total bill of RS 1590. Located in Buddi lane which is quite narrow and crowded area. I had to park my car quite far and then walk to the restaurant. We sat upstairs. Place was not at all clean and AC was not working. We ordered Naan-Khaliya as that's their famous dish. They took a good amount of time to get it. I found it ok, but my wife didn't like it. Worst part was that when we asked for extra naans, the waiter told us that we should have ordered in initial order itself as they get it from some other shop. That was a shocker. Then we had to wait a lot for the naans. Restaurant owners definitely need to improve the skills of their staff, their hygiene and the overall hygiene of the restaurant. This restaurant is not recommended from our side - till they improve on the service and hygiene part. May be you can try Great Sagar restaurant. We have not tried it, but it looked clean at least...
