Sentosa – Resort & Multi Cuisine Restaurant!
Sentosa Resort and Multi cuisine restaurant is located on Pune Mumbai highway in Kiwale and is spread across 13 acres; the property is well developed and is super spacious. The resort has a stay option of around 52 well furnished rooms and a private bunglow along with an water park which is nicely done and is a good option to relax along with your friends and family.
After having a good fun time in water park we tried some really good dishes from the multi cuisine restaurant, most of them were nicely done.
Starters
Achari Mushroom: Mushrooms done in a achari marinate (Indian pickle) flavor was slightly spicy-tangy in taste. I really loved this one. #Musthave.
Paneer Irani Tikka: Paneer slabs done in a creamy marinate was superb in taste. The paneer slabs were soft and fresh, it was medium spicy and the flavor of cardamom was well balanced. #Highlyrecommended
Non Veg Platter: The platter had Chicken Seekh, Malai, Pahadi, Banjara, Tikki, Kalmiri. The platter was a standard offering which we usually get in most of restaurant. All types of kebabs had well cooked chicken which were well marinated and were good in taste. #Recommended
Chicken Lollypop Dry: It had chicken lollypop pieces coated with thin batter and was deep fried, the chicken was well cooked, it was not too oily and was superb in taste, the schezwan chutney served along with it was also well done. #Highlyrecommended
Drums of Heaven: Chicken lollypop done in barbeque sauce was slightly sweet for my taste buds. May be because of the excess use of sauce it didn’t impress me. I am sure with less quantity of sauce this dish would taste much better.
Veg & Chicken Spring Roll: Both spring rolls had generous amount of stuffing in it and had a very thin coating, it was well fried. I personally loved the veg filling which was medium spicy in taste, the chicken spring roll on the other hand had well cooked chicken pieces but I felt that it had less spices in it and it didn’t impress me.
Main Course
Murg Mussallam: It had full portion of tandoored chicken simmered with aromatic onion tomato and cashew paste gravy. The gravy was thick in consistency, creamy in taste and was medium spicy. The chicken pieces were well cooked. It was served along with saffron rice which was also nicely done. #Highlyrecommended
Chicken Biryani: Non Dum version of biryani with long grain basmati rice along with chicken pieces marinated with medium spicy masala was good in taste. The rice was well cooked. #Recommended
Butter Chicken: The dish had boneless chicken pieces done in thick gravy which was too sweet for my taste buds. The appearance of this is really inviting but the flavours didn’t impress me.
Desserts
Gulab Jamun: The dish had hot gulabjamuns which were a bit sweet than usual, khoya was missing in the same. The gulabjamus were soft and well soaked but and it didn’t impress me.
Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic. With multiple options like Water park, Restaurant and Staying facility with good and reasonable rates Sentosa Resort is a nice destination for casual dinner or relaxing weekend option. There is huge space for parking and is one of the best which I have seen. Sentosa is indeed a highly...
Read moreAmbience:
Basically this is a restaurant which has a resort as well as water park. The ambience is really nice and it's too huge for group party's and family get-togethers.
Clean and decent place with fountain and swimming pool besides your table.
Food:
Starters included Chicken Afghani, Teriyaki chicken these came with an amazing marinated coverings. Teriyaki chicken is a must try.
Prawns Angara: These were prawns which were fried and served while the waiter pours whiskey on it and lits it on fire. One of the best prawns in taste. You can check the video on my Instagram page @blowbudgetfoodie
Veg platter: This platter comes with 3 varieties of paneer two are spicy and one is sweet. This platter is secured with salad too.
Paneer Hot Garlic: This dish had 2 inch paneer cubes cooked in garlic and hot sauce. The taste of garlic add an deliciousness to the paneer.
Pompret tandoori: The pompret fish was so soft it just melts in your mouth the moment you eat it. The fish anywhich way is a healthy meal item but this was delicious as well as light on tummy.
Rumali roti crispy with Cheese:
This is a humungous rumali roti of around 15-16 inches diameter. Topped with gratted cheese. The roti is so thin that it literally felt like it was a papad. Wish this roti had some more Toppings along with cheese.
Cheese cherry pineapple:
This was normal pineapple slice with cherry and cheese cube inserted on a toothpick.
Bharwa Mushroom & Mushroom salt pepper:
The mushrooms were marineted and we'll cooked this dish is cooked in cream so don't expect it to be spicy.
Finger chips:
Regular fries with nice green chutney, I could not resist having more of the chutney.
Main course:
Mutton Biryani & Mutton Haveli: The Mutton Haveli is a gravy which has this thickness which you can enjoy along with rice or nan as well. The Mutton Biryani had Mutton peices which were well marinated and very soft. The rice was had blended with the Mutton's spices and had this amazing taste.
Butter chicken:
Best dish of all the items served was the butter chicken. The chicken dish comes with whopping amount of butter and has a buttery taste with every bite. The chicken was very soft.
Paneer butter masala:
All vegetarians who wished to try butter chicken should definitely try this dish. This gravy has the exactly same taste like butter chicken except chicken.
Dal makhani and dal tadka:
These do taste good if you have them with steamed rice or biryani or jeera rice.
Desserts:
Gajar halwa:
The gratted carrots is cooked with milk and rich dry fruits like cashew and almond. This tastes really good and is served when hot so enjoy it when it's still hot.
Sizzling brownie:
Brownie is my all time favourite but when you say it sizzling brownie topped with vanilla ice cream there's no one who can stop me. This brownie is rich with dry fruits and is really soft. The hot chocolate syrup poured in vanilla ice cream gives it a Smokey taste.
Staff:
The staff is polite and helpful. They are well trained and hygienic.
