What stood out the most was their separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian kitchens, ensuring that veg food is prepared completely apart from non-veg items. This made me feel comfortable knowing that my food was cooked with care and hygiene in mind.
The menu had a good variety of vegetarian options, and I was excited to try their Falafel Shawarma. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. Wrapped in fresh bread with crunchy veggies and a delicious garlic sauce, it was filling and satisfying. They also offer Veg Burgers, which were well-seasoned and had a nice balance of textures.
What I didn’t expect but really enjoyed was their mocktails and cold coffee. The cold coffee was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Their mocktails were also impressive—fruity, refreshing, and a great way to cool down.
The service was quick, and the staff was polite and attentive. Even though the place was busy, they managed to serve fresh, hot food without much waiting time. The ambiance was simple but well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to grab a quick meal.
Overall, Shawarma King is a great spot for vegetarians looking for flavorful and fresh shawarmas and burgers. The fact that they have a separate kitchen for veg food makes it even better. Whether you're craving a crispy falafel shawarma or just a good cold coffee, this place is definitely...
Read moreIn the year 2016- One of my close ones stepped out of Akurdi Railway station and was hungry. He visited Shawarma King. That time this place was different. A small restaurant with no sitting arrangements. The year 2022- The same guy was wandering in the streets of Akurdi and suddenly the taste clicked in his mind. He decided to visit Shawarma King again. Yesterday- we all were planning to have a snacks party and he shared all the above things with us. And that was it. We headed towards Shawarma King. Seriously guys. We all had a blast. They have more than 150 items on their menu (veg+nonveg). The taste is great. You will like it. We were 8 in total and ordered more than a dozen items ( after trying 2-3 dishes at first). We had a great time in that area ( Tried a decent paan outlet) and got late. All shoppes were about to close and we too headed towards our vehicles. I encountered a beggar who was asking for food, he was differently abled and seemed hungry. He refused to take the money and insisted to have something to eat. I ran towards the same restaurant in hope and asked them to give anything they can to eat for the beggar. But they already had closed the counter. I explained the situation and they gave me a parcel and refused to take the money. I was so glad. I felt so good and wished good fortune for them while handing it...
