SKS Katthi Kebab Rools at Akurdi, exudes a laid-back and eclectic ambiance that one would find relaxing and comfortable. The chic wall art, embroidered cushions and the shimmering lights, lend the place a slightly middle eastern touch. The music (played through some well positioned wall mounted JBL speakers) is well curated, with recent peppy numbers remixed with club tracks, is not too loud, and provides an uplifting and spirited aura to the place. The interiors were hygienically maintained (and seemed recently renovated), had a clean wash basin, with sufficient soap and a decent towel to match. Using the restroom, is however, quite a hassle - the restaurant does not have one within its premises; customers hence have to approach the reception, get the key, navigate themselves through some corners into a random room, a floor above the restaurant in the same complex. The restroom was pretty shabby though, and reeked of desolation and neglect. Although sparingly used, owing to the inconvenience, it's cleanliness and maintenance hadn't been paid much attention to and was certainly disappointing. The food, however, is quite delectable and gratifying. We had ordered Chicken Adraki with Butter Rotis to go with it. We were served tender and boneless chicken pieces, cooked in a thick gravy with copious amounts of garlic and ginger - just the way we would have liked it. The quantity is not that great though, and would not be exactly sufficient for a group of two (unless you're looking out for a light meal, like we were). We had been restaurant-hopping that day, and hence found the quantity satisfactory. The prices are reasonable, and does justice to the food. The service was pleasant, and due regard is paid to not keep the customer waiting for too long. At one point, when we were trying hard to find the waiter (to order an extra roti), we had the manager run down to our table, take our order and have it delivered quickly. We took our time with the food, enjoyed the ambiance, and eased into the entire experience. We finally paid Rs300 for a plate of Chicken Adraki and 3 Butter Rotis, which I felt was modest for the generally delightful experience that we had. If you're in town and around Akurdi, I'd recommend that you...
Read moreFood The food was very well made. Perfectly cooked and tasty. They offered fairly wide range of food from kebabs, rolls, Biryani and Chapati sabji. Would very well be here again for the taste. It lacked presentation though.
Ambience Perfect for a group get together. Great interior art. The place is very well lit with warm yellow lighting. Not an idle romantic place. The tables are to close together. Which make it a noisy place. The speaker played new hindi pop at fairly loud volume which could be distracting. You could hear voice n noise from kitchen.
Service Hall had very few things to obstruct view which made calling for service easy. Waiters could improve at etiquettes and communicating with us.
Utility and features Air-conditioned dining space and fans kept fresh air circulating. A large tv played live cricket match on mute. Insect trap lights kept space free from bugs. Clean...
Read moreI recently visited "SKS Kathi Kabab and Rolls" cafe and was delighted by its fabulous ambiance. The place exuded a pleasant atmosphere that made the dining experience enjoyable. The variety on the menu caught my attention, so I decided to try the white sauce pasta, veggie delight pizza, green apple mojito, and hazelnut cold coffee. While the pasta and pizza were delicious, the hazelnut cold coffee was rather ordinary, lacking any exciting flavors. However, the standout feature was the quick and efficient service, ensuring a hassle-free dining experience. The ample space available for dine-in adds to the cafe's appeal, making it a great spot for gatherings. Overall, "SKS Kathi Kabab and Rolls" offers a wonderful ambiance, tasty food options, and prompt service, making it a recommendable choice for a...
