I recently dined at Sholla ITC Aurangabad and overall, it was a ok experience with a few areas that need improvement.
✅ The Good:
The ambiance was nice, and the hospitality was polite and welcoming. The food was generally good, and the service staff was attentive. ⚠️ Challenges Faced:
The salad had old cut onions, affecting freshness. The lamb curry was overly salty, making it hard to enjoy. The dessert was ruined by old dry fruits sprinkled on top, which spoiled the overall taste. The restaurant acknowledged the issues and offered to replace the dessert, but I suggested improving quality instead of just replacing items. Eventually, they offered it on the house, but I later found it included in the bill, which was disappointing.
Additionally, payment processing was a struggle—they had trouble accepting multiple cards, which was frustrating, especially considering small shops with in the city handled payments smoothly.
🔹 Final Thoughts:
Great hospitality & ambiance, but food quality and payment handling need improvement. Expect delays and possible inconsistencies in billing. Hope they work on food freshness to match their international hotel standards. Would I visit again? Maybe, if...

My wife, who is a vegetarian, and I, a non-vegetarian, just let chef Ranjit Singh Rawat ji, Shyam and Nanasaheb decide what to serve us, and they kept putting delectable and artistically prepared tandoori delicacies. The timeless vegetarian delicacies, like Arbi Ke Sholay, Rajma Galouti, Dal Bukhara and Tadkewali Dahi, Double Ka Meetha proudly stood shoulder to shoulder with non-veg favourites like Murg Gilaf. If you're in Aurangabad and you miss eating at this ITC Welcomgroup gem, blame yourself for an opportunity missed to receive food served like a blessing, in a sublime environment. The live music was from a divinely talented basuri flautist, a retired local music teacher, Mr Dhamsing Shiresar, and his accompanists Mr Goraksh and Mr Milind. Highly, highly, highly...
