Ordered Newyork cheesecake -500gm on occasion of Family member's Birthday. Immediately regrated the decision. The cake costed approx. 950 rupees with taxes. At this price, customer will have certain expectation from the bakery.

The Newyork Cheesecake is meant to be topped with minimum topped sugar cream. This was not the cases. The sugar cream was more than half size of the cream cheese thickness. As it was birthday cake, like every other bakery from where a human will order a cake will expect there will be at least 1-2 small candles to blow. The parcel received at home and to my surprise there was no candle in a birthday cake. While calling them, they said: sir, you will have to buy them separately! Its bloody 950 rupees cake and you cannot even put 5 rupees candle?? Even if you cannot, how would a customer come to know that there will be no candle in the box and need to order sedately? Where is the common sense of these bakery owners?

There was a plastic wrap around the cake, which I believe was to keep the cake in shape. There was a holder on plastic to remove it. As soon as I pull the plastic out, the over applied sugar cream layer came out with the cake and whole cake was ruined!! Why the hell these guys would apply so much sugar cream layer in Newyork cheesecake?

The entire birthday experience turned into a nightmare due to the stupidity of these so called overpriced and common senseless people who just want to rip off the customers.

There are lots of better options available nearby. A kind request to whoever is planning to get the cake from here -...

The cakes and bakes are very good The gift items are of good quality The retail products are good too And the ambience is classy as well

But the service staff need a crash course in customer handling. When they are attending to one customer or discussing anything among themselves, they literally are blind to anyone walking in or out. There is no hello or welcome or goodbye or thank you... You walk-in, wait for them to serve you, pay and get lost. i'm not sure of the other locations, but this one sure made sure they lost at least one customer... in spite of the brand targeting a premium customer base with a promise of a premium food experience.

What's worse is that they have very limited options in cakes. Only the high selling ones. Any question about any other flavour or option is met with little or no interest from the staff.

Almost at all times, there are only 2 staff. one behind the cake counter and one at the pay counter. Probably that is why they are too busy to care for CUSTOMER SERVICE

And because they have a good walk-in crowd they are all-the-more not interested in improving i guess.

Also, i have witnessed that people tend to accept poor treatment in places that look good. So maybe its a combination of all these factors.

Anyways, you can share your experience if and when you visit this place. If you can't avoid the brand, suggest another Theobroma...

We ordered the 2 kg cake for birthday party and this was done 4 days back but during the time of delivery they said the person who was bringing the cake met with an accident. The question is why you got to know during the time we came for the pick up. After passing this message they were not bothered and not sorry for anything They got busy in attending other customers. I know this review will not make any impact to them but there was nothing they could do other than passing the msg that the cake is not available. There were no shop around us and forcefully we had to take another 1-1 kg cake which was very expensive. But still they did not give any discount, no sorry , no empathy nothing Again they got busy with another customer

I will never visit this place again. Its better to go with local market atleast you can rely on them
