Staff Review:
Main Coordinator:
For this function I googled several restaurants and finalised this considering the great ambience it has.
Mr Kailash assisted us and finalised our booking for 20+ pax with customized menu. Whereas, on the day of the function he was on leave and hence he had asked some other person to manage the event. (I have seen the same situation in other bad review posted on google).
The time finalized for the function was 6.30 PM to 8.30 PM and hence we reached venue for some arrangements at 5.30 PM. The staff started cribbing on shifting the tables as per requirement. The staff did not corporate well to arrange it.
At 8.00 PM the coordinator rushed to wrap the party whereas time agreed was 8.30 PM subjected to guest and for that sake not many guests were waiting.
Waiters/staff review:
The waiters were standing at one place near counter other than looking after guest and servings. The water was served after half an hour of serving the starters that too after guest started rushing for water and off course after having bad starter “Manchurian”
During the function we asked to raise the volume of songs which was just acknowledged but not worked on and hence the party ambience felt little bore
Food Review:
Welcome drink – The welcome drink was extremely sugary and was very disappointing
Starters - The starter decided was cheese balls which was great in taste and other is Manchurian, which was burnt, spicy and overall, highly disappointing.
Main course – The menu we selected was pasta which was good. The second was noodles which was burnt and pathetic in taste & third was veg biryani and it was just like Pulav with no masala and again disappointing.
Sweet – Gulab Jamun was the sweet we decided. The taste wise it was average. Just didn’t understand serving One Gulab Jamun in bowl. Who on earth serve one piece of Gulab Jamun in the bowl as sweet dish. It was total embarrassment in front of guests.
After function – Dinner for the host family.
In the main course they offered only 3 dishes of main course, the starter they served on al-a-cart basis (at actual it should have been unlimited as per agreement), and the reason is the party time was over. After serving we complaint staff about noodle burnt flavor, post that waiter told us that this is made during serving guest (around hr back) and hence we had to reheat same in oven and during the process it got burnt. The further dishes they kept chargeable and for courtesy sake (after our burnt compliant) they charged only for 2 out f 3.
At this point we requested staff to lower the volume (as the baby was sleeping) whereas again like above its just acknowledged but not worked on.
Strongly Not Recommended for any party, staff is incapable to handle the arrangements and food is average.
Overall, it wasn’t worth, its not about the money only but about the embarrassment in front of guests and disappointment after the function. We arrange with lot of enthusiasm and because of the bad management of hotel it ruined the fun.
Not recommended to anyone, explore other places in town which serves best food, best service and best...
Read moreJust 2 day's back, I had organised a kid's birthday party with Barrio, Mr. Kailash was a manager who really explained guided about all the services and ambiance is quite pleasant hence we finalized the party, however on the party day the Manager whom we had dealt was not well and had to deal with sm lady manager who was extremely rude and misbehaved as if we had done crime by organising party on Monday wherein her maximum staff was has holiday. With this we were in miserable situation starting from Parking, even after having enough parking the gaurd didn't allow guest to park, secondly at the entrance the receptionist was not informed about the party and hence she denied to hv any party there and guest were about to return, when we asked that lady manager she said 20 ppl for kid's birthday is not a party so not informed at reception, was her answer. Thirdly they had dance floor too and hence the music is available in all restaurants, this is the most common service where in Barrio charges extra for music at hotel, only 2 waiters were serving and managing party music and DJ music was another suprise to me. This didn't stop here rather than serving food their staff served desert 1st i e cake, as kid's were extremely hungry and food was not ready even after pre-booking informing half an hour before cake cutting for food. Kid's started shouting pizza pizza we want pizza, Pasta quantity was just bottom of the pan. Biryani were half the pot. While all the menu was prefixed I was asked options which I selected at the last moment and was charged even beyond the rates of their own menu card. The lady Manager was passing wrong message to there senior after the party and had dramatic seen for 1 hour to settle the payment of the bill. At last we tried explaining her, still her arrogance was on peak and didn't wanted to rectify the mistake. We asked for owners nos on which she replied that she owns it and owner has no time to look into this. We were extremely disheartened with such kind of service at newly started hotel. Moreso she shown us sm incomplete article on which she forced us to pay service charges. All in all, extremely poor hospitality. I would never ever visit such negative place nor recommend anyone to casual dinner or party too.. I request owner to check out camera recording for more details. Attached photos of hungry kid's waiting for...
Read moreBarrio Rooftop Restaurant, located in Pimple Saudagar, offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere with a stunning rooftop setting. While the restaurant boasts an extensive menu, it's important to note that some menu items may not live up to their fancy names. One such disappointment was the option labeled with a fancy name, which turned out to be nothing more than popcorn. This was a letdown, as expectations were set high for something more unique and exciting.
On the positive side, the overall quality of the food at Barrio Rooftop Restaurant was satisfactory. The menu features a range of dishes, including both Indian and international cuisines, catering to various palates. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were decent, although they may not necessarily leave a lasting impression.
Apart from the food, the rooftop ambiance at Barrio is a standout feature. The open-air setting, coupled with comfortable seating and pleasant decor, creates a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. It's a great spot for a casual get-together with friends or a romantic evening under the stars.
Service at Barrio Rooftop Restaurant was efficient and attentive, with the staff being courteous and accommodating. The waitstaff ensured that guests were well taken care of throughout their visit.
In conclusion, while Barrio Rooftop Restaurant in Pimple Saudagar offers a delightful rooftop experience and decent food overall, the disappointment lies in the misleading fancy name for an option that turned out to be basic popcorn. Despite this setback, the restaurant's inviting ambiance and attentive service make it a decent choice for an enjoyable...
