I recently had the opportunity to try the Misal at Thorat's Barbeque, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. While the taste of the Misal was quite good, it was the presentation that truly stood out.
The Misal had a well-balanced level of spiciness, offering a flavorful kick without overpowering the palate. The combination of sprouts, spices, and gravy created a harmonious blend that delighted the taste buds. The Misal had a comforting and satisfying taste that left me wanting more.
However, what truly impressed me was the presentation of the Misal at Thorat's Barbeque. The dish was beautifully arranged with attention to detail. The farsan (fried savory mix) and toppings were garnished skillfully, adding a vibrant touch to the overall presentation. The colors and textures of the ingredients were visually appealing, enhancing the dining experience.
In terms of service, the staff at Thorat's Barbeque were attentive and friendly. They promptly took our orders and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
While taste is subjective, I found the Misal at Thorat's Barbeque to be quite satisfying. The well-balanced flavors and the meticulous presentation added to the overall appeal of the dish. It is worth mentioning that personal preferences for spiciness may vary, so it's advisable to communicate your spice tolerance to the staff when placing your order.
In conclusion, Thorat's Barbeque offers a Misal experience that is not only tasty but also visually appealing. The well-balanced flavors and the attention to presentation make it a worthwhile choice for Misal enthusiasts. If you are in the area and looking for a Misal that delivers both on taste and presentation, Thorat's Barbeque is definitely worth...
Read moreVery pathetic and slow service. No regard for customers. I waited for 20 mins for a waiter to show up to take my order. He then kept some accompanying items like poha, matki, batata, dahi, onions. Again he disappeared for 15 mins after which he brought the pav. They did not place the coal below the rassas They have four types of rassas. Two spicy and two less spicy. The spicy ones are ok. But the less spicy ones are pathetic. They taste tangy and sour. The poha given is stale and most of the items are refrigerated and not fresh. The curd was also not good. Only the batata vegetable was ok. I asked for a second serving and it never came. This discouraged me from ordering a second set of pav. So much for the unlimited misal experience!
Very poor service. There is no one on billing counter on a Saturday morning at 10:00 am! The waiters are not paying any attention to the customers.
Thorat misal Lonavala is much better than this. This one is not being managed properly.
I recommend you go to dakhani misal just opposite this one. There you won’t get unlimited misal but at least they will take your...
Read moreThis place in Nigdi is an awesome find. Frankly, I am not a big fan of Misal and haven't tasted a good misal since i shifted to Pune, but Thorat changed my perception. I really liked the concept. The place was clean and lively with nice music playing throughout. It majorly offers 2 dishes Misal pav and pav bhaji. I opted for unlimited options in both. We were given 3 types of bhaji and misal rassa. Pav bhaji was not that great but the misal blew me away. The 4 rassas tasted very different from each other and were really spicy and flavorful. Just the way I like my food to be. They offered 6 pavs and I couldn't order more. The thaki came up with condiments like onion salad, mahes potatoes, curd and sprouts. The staff is pleasant, the owner is very accommodating. Will definitely recommend it for food lovers. Also, if someone can please suggest the best pav bhaji I can have in Nigdi -...
