I had heard a lot about Vasu Vadapav in the Nigdi area through online feedback, reels, and word of mouth, which created quite a lot of expectations. However, my personal experience did not match the hype. The vadapav here has a very different taste compared to the regular traditional one. While some may find that twist interesting, I personally did not enjoy the flavor. It completely misses the authentic, traditional touch that makes vadapav such a beloved snack in Maharashtra. Even their chai and coffee, which I tried to balance the experience, lacked the warmth and authentic taste you expect at such local eateries. The outlet does have a fairly large space for sitting, but unfortunately, it’s not managed well. The arrangement feels unorganized, slightly messy, and the hygiene levels could definitely be improved. Cleanliness and proper maintenance are equally important as taste, and in that area, too, this place falls short. Overall, nothing here really stood out as “special.” The hype created online doesn’t quite reflect the on-ground experience. For someone seeking authentic taste and a hygienic environment, this may not be...
Read moreVasu Vada Pav Centre has been famous for its vada pav for decades, and it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed visiting. After a long time, I finally went back, and while the vada pav was super fresh, it didn’t taste as amazing as I remember from before. It was still good, but it just didn’t have the same bold flavors that made it so special in the past.
What I did enjoy a lot was the tea. It was absolutely strong, flavorful, and refreshing. It added a comforting touch to the visit and reminded me of the quality this place is known for.
The overall atmosphere is still simple and inviting, making it a nice spot for a quick snack. I’m hopeful that with a little attention to their flavors, they can bring back the magic that made their vada pav so iconic.
Even though it wasn’t the same as before, I’d still recommend visiting for a fresh vada pav and a great cup of tea. This place holds a special charm, and I’m sure it will continue to be...
Read moreVada Pav is good, but the person handling finance has really bad attitude. They are providing UPI barcode scan pay option in which their barcode does not work. The amount gets deducted and goes in PENDING. They say you will get it back. I did 3 transaction in which 2 times money deducted but went in pending. Third time it became successful. Not only mine, there were other customer who were complaining same thing. They said money will be refunded back to you. After 2 days I saw, all 3 transactions have become successful, so I went back to them. And the person handling finance was such rude as if for 75rs. I am doing fraud with them. He does not have any knowledge about UPI or finance but his attitude to speak to customer was pathetic and very rude. I felt as if I am asking for money for borrowing. My Last Visit to Vasu Vada Pav, never I will visit go again. Caution: Never use their UPI...
