Olivia - All Day Dining — Restaurant in Mira-Bhayander

A place that we really longed to visit in sometime. At the end of the night it was a mixed emotion. Feeling of nostalgia to visit this place was dampened by mediocre service and presentation. A very tardy service and long wait times. Reason why I haven't posted photos of the dishes. However, the taste of food was good. We ordered Nachos with a cheese dip and Chicken Tostadas. The cheese dip for the nachos had a good taste. By the time the toastadas arrived they were soggy although again for the taste I would give a 3.5 out of 5. For the mains we ordered 2 types of sizzlers i.e. Grilled Chicken and Mexican Chicken. Additionally we ordered Penne Pasta with chicken and Alfredo Sauce. Pasta had an oomph of taste. Good job by the chef on the cooking of pasta and the texture of the Alfredo sauce. Nothing much to mention about the 2 sizzlers but the taste was good. We saw quite a few "brownie" sizzlers pass by us and assumed that it was probably popular here and ordered one for ourselves. It was definitely worth to order as it was yumm. We ordered it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a Saturday we arrived at around 10:30 ish and the place was busy. Probably the reason why the service staff and the kitchen was overwhelmed. I visited this place for my wedding anniversary on 13th Apr 22. This was my wedding anniversary. The staff was busy with other customers. I had to call the waiter all the time to take order. Took him about 20 mins to attend the table followed by 20 mins to get drinks and the another 10 mins to get the glasses and opener. I ordered chicken lolly pop and masala papad with kabab. Got my order without any sauce. I then after eating couple of lollypops waited to see if I would get the sause but I didn't so I approached and told the manager. He arranged for it. That papad arrived after the drinks got over.

I ordered for food and then again waited. Finally the food came I ate and ordered for bill. The bill came and no one came to collect the bill. I walked away because I was frustrated of waiting . I then went back and informed the waiter that I didn't pay the bill and they didn't even realize it. I paid the bill and walked away. My entire dinner experience was bad. The food no doubt is good and best but the service at Olivia very pathetic that I literally had to call the manager and tell him upfront that the service was really bad. We wanted ala cart however at Olivia buffer was served today 24th April 2022. We went in for the buffet . We were not served water and we had to ask 4-5 Times however after asking probably the 5th time water was served to us. We drank the water was very thirsty and had to again ask 3-4times and then the water was served to us. We additionally ordered fresh lime soda but was given fresh lime water and it was extremely bitter. We asked for sugar syrup but was never given. We complained it was bitter but no one paid attention. This type of service we don’t expect from such a reputed hotel. You took full money but gave 1 rating service .
