The Emerald Café — Restaurant in Mizoram

The atmosphere is wonderful! We go there to talk, sit, and play scrabble. If you go there during quiet hours, I'm sure it's perfect for just sitting and reading/working, however since it's quite popular, it's usually too crowded to concentrate. They serve instant ramen there, and a variety of drinks, and bakery items. Their drinks are really good. I like that they have a lot of tea options for tea lovers; very refreshing to see in Aizawl. The coffee is also good. I love their ice americano. It's also decently priced. Since they are so busy all the time, I suppose it can be difficult for the staff to keep up as service is a little slow and the staff sometimes look a bit agitated. I love that they open late, perfect for late night talks after a long day! I will definitely keep going back so I really hope they stay...

Definitely one of the best cafes in Aizawl currently, as it's near a secluded road. Expect little to no traffic or outside noise disturbing your experience.

Great atmosphere and vibe, with the soothing music playing in the background. The best bg music is the one you don't have to think about, and this cafe definitely embodies it. The service was great, and the waiters were easy to talk to, the price wasn't too expensive compared to other restaurants nowadays. And the food, especially the brownie tastes amazing.
