GD’s Chinese Corner is a popular restaurant in the Chembur area serving some delicious Chinese food as well as food from other cuisines. I had read a lot of good reviews about them, so I decided to order from them recently.

The food arrived in 25 minutes and the packaging was decent. The quantity of both rice and gravy was good enough for 1 heavy eater. The rice was cooked well and had lots of egg in it, while the consistency of the gravy was really good with 4 pieces of Chicken in it. The pieces of Chicken were very tender and cooked perfectly. The taste was medium spicy and it was very different from the typical Triple Rice that other restaurants serve. They have got the flavor right and I was definitely happy ordering this dish from them. Will definitely order again from them very soon!

The place seems to have upgraded itself from a small Chinese stall just opposite to where the present restaurant stands. Chinese food is the specialty though they also serve Pasta, sabzi roti, etc. Being in Tilak Nagar, it serves both veg and non-veg food which keeps the usually popular Ghatkopar Gujarati vegetarian crowd away. Triple Schzewan Fried Rice was good and the American Chopsuey had the perfect texture of sweetness in sauce and crispness in noodles - a combination that very few get correct. Beyond the Chinese, they are also known for their bread items like Chilli Cheese Toast, Garlic bread and combos from 2-in-1 to 5-in-1 which is the most expensive item on the menu at Rs 460. We tried the less expensive ones and they were good. Otherwise the place is easy on your pockets and a proper meal for 2 should not go over ₹ 500. No water served and you have to purchase mineral water only. They could do with some more fans and also tables and seating arrangement since the waiters are often sitting on your head to make place for the next customer. Will recommend this place for its quantity and price. A pocket friendly place to have chinese with family and friends. If you are with a big group then seating would be somewhat difficult. The seating is available mainly outdoor and 2 tables indoor. The staff is friendly.
They have introduced with new dishes like cheese garlic bread, sandwiches, pizzas, rolls and much more. GD's is one of the oldest place and well know in tilak nagar, chembur for its Chinese dishes. Having chinese from there from years and it has never failed ro satisfy with its taste.
