TLDR: if you see friend of the staff eating, don’t bother for any attention 😂 —- I went for lunch after staying at the hotel for a couple days. I had no idea about the buffet but the staff told me it would be open for another 20/30 and sold it to me. I agree thinking I’d eat a little bit of everything. 5 minutes in I see people coming in and starting to clean up the trays… I ran to secure 2/3 plates worth of food just in case they shut it down. Some of the food by this time is already very dry and/or cold… so much for trying a little bit of everything. Suddenly then my attention went to dessert, I made another run to secure whatever I’d need😂 but there were no bowls.. so I improvised using soup mugs for dessert (fine by me don’t care). Finally I sat down starting to eat.. and then I noticed no water or napkin.. ok no problem, I asked a staff, who was interrupted by a girl (with someone who appeared to be pally with all the staff). They took both our requests and off they went never to be seen again except the girl had a refreshing cold bottle of water in 5 minutes and I didn’t.. sitting with food soiled hands I asked 2 more staff but they would just disappear in thin air and later would be found serving some other table. So I thought maybe I don’t look like I deserve their attention or something 😂.. soon I spotted a stack of paper napkins unattended on their counter and grab the bundle… then I had to ask another one to get a cloth one saying he was the fifth person I was asking, slightly frustrated I lost hope.. finally I got the napkin yay!
