I went to try their exotic sunday brunch .It has a wide range of options.Every sunday they have a new theme for brunch..Today they had a special avadhi theme counter in the buffet .Chef from jw marriot juhu hotel was personally present to ensure that everything from avadhi food is in order.A nice artist was invited by JW cafe to play sitar..Treat to hear him play sitar.Service of staff was very good and courteous.
One great factor about eating at Marriot is one can be rest assured with their quality of food..Top notch and no compromise..This is a prime reason why they have so many regular diners.

Read more"Hakuna Mimosa! It means "Brunch Time" . Sunday brunches are all about "spoilt for choices" desserts while champagnes flow and mocktails welcome. Pastas are tossed up and pizzas are baked; sushi is rolled and noodles are fried. There are giggles all over while everyone is content as there is a choice of cuisine for all. "
JW Cafe, coveted as one of the best brunches in Bombay is a summation of all this. Being Christmas, I feel the city has a different vibes with christmas tree decoration while eyes call you towards the ginger bread houses.
So as I entered the cafe, I was mesmerised as desserts greet you. The display of desserts drooled me. There were simple white props holding the desserts like a little elite cute tea party. From cupcakes hanging to lollipops places, to the donut beautifully hung to chocolates placed. It was one of the widest spreads I have seen. There was everything you could think of. Cakes - yes. Being christmas - Plum Cake yes, raisin cake yes. Being strawberry season, strawberry tarts- yes. , strawberry short cake - yes. And not to forget the Indian sweets, motichoor ladoo, besan ladoo, rasgullas. Coming back, I really loved the old fashioned dutch truffle. I know it is very classic but the richness of the chocolate really impressed me. There was oreo cheesecake, raspberry meringues, fruit gateaux to everything I could think of.
Whenever I sit down and write about brunches, it is a task and a dilemma as to what to write, how much in depth to write and how much to cover.
So I had decided that I wouldn't eat main courses and save a lot of space for the desserts. Then I see chaat cart. From kachoris to samosa to dahi bhalla to sev puri to paani puri, everything was present. Then I walk further to meet salads. And oh they were exotic! From Greek salad to grape fruit with feta, there was quite a lot. Also cheeses and dry fruits on the other end.
Then I walk across the elaborate Indian section which contained everything from biryani to makke di roti. I was already full at watching so much food. Then the frankie station says hello to me with spices laid and veggies to pick. Oh and did I not mention the tawa pulav? Yes . You stand there and they make it for you with your choice. And let me dedicate one line to the dedicated sushi counter. They have a huge sushi live kitchen where they make it for you. Also yes lets go Italiano with woodfire pizzas and variety of pasta. If thats not it, there is is also Thai to please your taste buds. And yes not to forget the yaki noodles and udon noodles and all of it.
Do you already feel its a lot of food?
Allow me to mention about feeling like a kid when you say ladens of baskin robbon icecream with a lot of toppings. Thats not it, there are tubs of candies lying for you as well. And then there is a dedicated waffle counter with a choice of spreads.
And then welcome the drinks. There is moet chandon embracing the place. A Christmas tree is made from the bottles and the glasses while mocktails are made and cocktails are churned.
While I attempted to taste by having one bite of each, I was impressed that there was barely any room for error.
So if you are thinking of a luxurious sunday affair, then this should be one of your...

One thing I have learnt - Enjoying life as it comes to you in the moment is the real luxury worth cherishing. Life does not get better by Chance, but by Change.
So this Sunday I set my camera to work at JW Cafe. To begin with, one of the best brunch I have come across in Mumbai till date. Yes it's absolutely gorgeous and wide spread.
So the cafe is located in JW Marriott Hotel, Sahar, close to International airport.
This place is featured in Luxury dining and premium gold restaurants. It's totally worth it.
How was my experience?
So I visited for Sunday brunch. As I enter, I'm greeted with a warm welcome. On a good note I walked inside and Oh my ! This huge cafe with food all around. The interiors are so elegant and pleasant. As I entered there are carts full of desserts. I bet you'll feel like taking them home. (Atleast I did)
The staff is very courteous. Also met Chef Shrikant, he's perfection at his work. Loved the way he plated food for me.
What I Drank?
PINACOLADA
One of my very favourite mocktails. Too fond of coconut and milk preparations.
What I Ate?
It's a very huge spread that has fresh cuts, Appetisers, khow suey, Pizza, Pasta, Chaat, Main Course, Sushi, Roasted meats, Mutton preparation in Mohd Ali Road style, Thai food and loads of desserts.
DAHI CHAAT
I started off my brunch with some dahi chaat. It was served in the small earthern matka. They also have options of pani puri, samosa chat, bhel and a lot more.
CHICKEN PIZZA
I ordered for a chicken pizza with feta cheese and some black olives. It's a mini thin crust pizza. Very subtle in taste. Not too cheesy or heavy on sauce.
CHEESE NACHOS
Took a plate of cheesy nachos with Mexican corn salsa and mixed tortillas. Topped them with sour cream and cheese sauce. Some black and green olives too. Quite a good meal in itself.
DESSERT
Don't be surprised to read desserts before main course. My family culture since my childhood has remained to eat starters, then dessert. then main course and then again some dessert.
So I got my hands over a few macaroons. They had 4 varieties and some chocolate lollies.
MAIN COURSE
ALOO ANAR KOFTA CURRY
I tried the aloo anar kofta curry. It was a creamy smooth gravy with mini aloo kofta and pomegranate seeds in it.
PANEER KHURCHAN
This was semi dry gravy. It had capsicum, onion and paneer pieces coated with spiced gravy.
MURG BARADARI
Had this amazing chicken gravy. A finely done aromatic gravy having boneless pieces of chicken. Sunday lunch couldn't be better than this !
DESSERTS
(ONCE AGAIN)
So I had my second round of desserts. Whoever said that desserts don't go to the stomach, they go to your heart was indeed a wise human. I respect his/her love towards sweet
This round comprised of some lemon meringue, berry tart, liquor balls (rum, whiskey, baileys), mango and raspberry Pastry and some red velvet cake.
What more would you ask for to make your Sunday beyond perfectttt?
So I had a lovely day. You too should have one by visiting JW Cafe for either Lunch/ Dinner/ Sunday Brunch and have one of the most luxurious or finest...
