I usually desist from posting negative reviews about restaurants but I could not hold back myself from posting this.
This review is for an order placed online.
I ordered dinner on May 9th, yesterday, and ordered the following:
ALOO ONION PARATHA When we say Paratha, what comes to mind is a nice, crisply baked flatbread with a generous stuffing within. But what was delivered to me last night was only flatbread, baked nicely but with very little stuffing & that too scattered all over the Paratha. I ended up eating a lot of whole wheat dough, the stuffing tasted nice good but the quantity was not good enough to cover the surface of entire Paratha. The only saving grace was the chutney & pickle which accompanied the Paratha. The chutney was a nice blend of sweet & spicy chutney; in fact, it was a mix of both. The pickle was very different from the one served in most restaurants; either they make their own or procure it from a different source, either it tasted very nice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOUGHY PARATHA. They serve 2 pieces of Paratha when you place an order.
PAV BHAJI After having a glance of what was delivered to me last night, I shudder to call it Pav Bhaji. The so-called Bhaji was just loads of masala gravy with two small Paneer cubes & no trace of any vegetable; either whole or mashed. There was a generous layer of oil which was pooled over the masala. The gravy, as expected, was spicy & would have given me heartburn had I consumed it in entirety. Needless to say, I didn’t consume it after a couple of spoons. The restaurant should either work on improving it by adding a good amount of vegetables or stop listing it for ordering. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MESS OF A PAV BHAJI
BOONDI RAITA Actually, it was the Boondi Raita which helped me finish off the Paratha. The quantity of pickle & chutney was small & not enough to finish off 2 Parathas. The dahi was nice & sweet, with a good amount of boondi & some dry spices sprinkled over it gave it a nice flavor.
One bad experience is good enough to put me off this restaurant forever but they should atleast serve something which resembles the dish they have listed on their menu card & can be physically verified with the...
