Alfred Restaurant And Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

Went here last Sunday with some friends. In spite of being a Sunday, we got a place to sit. We opted for the ground floor. Was not very crowded. The service staff are prompt and attentive. We had a few beers, the pricing of which is reasonable. The place doesn't have the best of hygiene though. Upholstery on the chairs and sofa was dirty. Upstairs on the first floor is the dance bar. Had a nice time, although we were there for just a short while. The reason I wouldn't give this place anything more than 1 star is because when the time came for settling the bill, we were given a piece of paper. It had the quantity and amount of what we owed. But there was no name for the restaurant, VAT, GST number etc printed on it. It didn't even have the name of the restaurant mentioned. Surprisingly online payment was available but not a proper billing system. They seem to have a very rudimentary accounting system, looks like a lot of juggling and adjustments happening with the auditing team and the sales record keeping. Tax evasion...
