Liberty Lunch Home is an old and popular restaurant located in Marine Lines area. They are known for their South Indian cuisine dishes. I decided to pick up their Chicken Thali as I was passing by the same area during the lockdown period. They took 20 minutes to get my parcel ready.

The Chicken Thali consisted of Chicken Sukka, Chicken Masala Gravy, Coccinia Grandis Masala, Rice, Solkadi, Papad & 3 Chapatis. Portion wise, each element has very small serving and this entire thali was sufficient for one adult. Chicken Sukha was spicy and had a typical Manglorean taste. Coccinia Grandia Sabzi was very delicious. Chicken Masala was spicy and worked well with rice. The only element where the portion size was generous was the steam rice. Solkadi was a good drink to end the meal. Overall, this thali was good for one time try and I was happy with the overall taste of all the elements. I will try their seafood dishes in my next order.

Stumbling upon this hidden gem in the bylanes of South Mumbai was a delightful surprise. The restaurant is well-maintained, creating a cozy atmosphere, and the owner, a courteous person, greeted us with a warm smile.

Opting for the Surmai Fish Thali and Chicken Tikka, we were pleased to find the food not only good in taste but also served hot and presented well. The service was excellent, and the staff's hospitality added to the overall positive experience. I'm already looking forward to another visit to explore more delicacies from their menu. Name it you have it I recommend it to the tourist who are low on budget and want best food quality at low cost Service variety of food including chicken mutton fish Chinese cold drinks ice cream water bottle etc. The waiters here are good and will guide you if you have any kind of confusion regarding what to order they also have Sunday special menu. The restaurant is open also at late night till 12:30 which is one more Plus point.
