If you're looking for tasty South Indian food in a clean and fully vegetarian setting, Balaji Restaurant is a great pick. I tried the masala dosa, sada dosa, and veg cheese sandwich – and everything hit the spot. The masala dosa was crisp and flavorful, with a well-spiced potato filling. The sada dosa really stood out – it was huge and super filling, perfect if you’re really hungry. The veg cheese sandwich was a nice surprise too – cheesy, fresh, and toasted just right.

The place is clean, service is quick, and the overall vibe is comfortable and family-friendly. One of the best parts is that their entire menu is vegetarian, so it’s a worry-free spot for those who prefer or follow a veg diet.

If you’re around Bandra Hill Road or Bandstand and want to try South Indian food, this is hands down one of the best places to go. Highly recommend it for a satisfying and...

Dear [Balaji / Manager],

I just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for the truly unforgettable meal I received today. Ordering machurian soup and masala dosa sounded like a great idea — until I took my first bite and realized I'd been gifted with a special experience I can only describe as "gastronomic betrayal."

The dosa? A masterpiece of blandness. I’m convinced it was carefully crafted to have absolutely no flavor — a true test of how tasteless food can legally be. Impressive!

But the real star of the show? The chutney. Rotten, sour, and daringly spoiled — it felt like a science experiment gone wrong. Bravo for the courage to serve something that could probably walk off the plate on its own.

Thanks again for redefining my understanding of "meal regret." I’ll be sure to recommend your place to everyone I secretly dislike.

Warm regards, A very...

The restaurant offers a variety of Indian cuisine options, but what really stood out to me was their Dal Khichidi.

The dish was perfectly spiced and seasoned, with tender lentils and rice that were cooked to perfection. It was a warm and comforting dish that hit the spot and left me feeling satisfied.

In addition to the excellent food, I was also impressed by the affordable pricing and quick service. The restaurant is a great value for the quality of food and service that it offers, and I appreciated how quickly the food was prepared and served.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant and welcoming, with simple decor and comfortable seating. It was clear that the focus of the restaurant was on the food, and I appreciated the...

Small South Indian eatery. The restaurant was very crowded when I visited, and I assume this will mostly be the case due to it's location on a bustling main road. The server was friendly, the food was tasty and the meal was served quickly. Will recommend that you try.Service is quick too. Food is worth the price you pay here. After all your shopping this is the place to go to for south indian stuff like masala dosa, idli etc. Their other north indian dishes are good tooStandard breakfast place .. the onion tomato uthappam is very yummy. I saw a lot of customers choosing the paper dosa 👍Standard breakfast place .. the onion tomato uthappam is very yummy. I saw a lot of customers choosing the paper dosa 👍
