Chinese Palace — Restaurant in Mumbai

Went to this place for dinner for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised with the food and good portion too. We had chicken coriander soup which was a thick soup and was very filling. There was also chicken sweet corn soup and chicken manchow soup. For starters we had chicken dim sum steamed n the fried ones too. Was ok. Corn curd was outstanding. Crispy thread chicken another favorite but it's best eaten hot. For the main course we had mixed fried rice with a good amount of prawns n chicken. Was quite tasty and filling. Kung pao chicken was ok could have had some more punch. But a wee bit on the salty side. Should cut down on salt. American Chopsuey was the other accompaniment with our food. A favorite of many. A sweet and sour food preparation. Had a great time. But they must get the lifts repaired as only 1 lift works and that too a long walk to the restaurant and should allow the taxis to come to the entrance. Well I would say good value...

Visited today.. Sharing Very Genuine experience.. Firstly the place doesn't look like it's an authentic Chinese restaurant.. It's clean & the air feels fresh but it's overall a very dull place.. The Gentleman who took our order had no eye contact and was not at all hospitable.. We called for the Veg Lung Fung Soup but the soup tasted pathetic.. it only had finely chopped pieces of cabbage and a few pieces of carrots whereas a genuine Lung Fung Soup has Cauliflower, mushrooms, spring onions but nthn was in mine.. My soup was served without fried noodles which any chinese restaurant would.. when asked for it to the same man who took our order he asked my wife if she wanted it! Is that how you talk to customers? The menu was extremely overpriced for the product offered.. This is my experience, I'm sure it could be different with others but when I went thru this we didn't want to sit back for starters nor the mains.. Hope the owner...

Chinese Palace Restaurant at Tardeo established in the year 1972. Almost 4 decades old but still maintaining its service and cuisine. An authentic Chinese flavour and variety of Chinese cuisine. I used to visit with my aunt as a toddler. Several instances visited with my Spouse and siblings. Variety and taste is maintained. Service is very good. Quite cordial staff and helpful. One should try their introduced dish - Crackling crispy Spinach with Chicken. Spinach is very yummy and crispy. Their soups are yummy and mouth watering. Wantons - Oh woh! A cosy place for even throwing a party. Ambient is cool, clean and courteous. It is situated on the 1st floor of the Bombay Market Apartments CS Ltd. Building.
