Good food but not great. Pricing is better than most restaurants of this scale. The Bar Stock Exchange, Lower Parel was recommended to us by a friend who had been to multiple branches of it and found it serving cheap alcohol. We went there for the birthday party as many of my friends wanted to drink. Outside the place, there are multiple bouncers who will stop you if you do not have a girl accompanying you. When we were entering initially we were 3 guys and only 1 girl. So they refused to let us in. There only this place went down in my head. But a friend talked to the owner who was standing outside and he let us in. But still, I would never want to go to such place who do not allow unless you are without a girl. Forget about those without any girlfriend but what would the gay couple do in such kind of place. It is a pathetic attitude of restaurant and bar owners.
Now coming to the place inside there was loud music on all the time. It was so loud that placing the order with the waiter was difficult. The seat which we were given was torn from the edge.
Now coming to food, we ordered few items and a lot of non-alcoholic drinks (as I and a friend of mine were non-drinkers) and a lot of alcoholic drinks for my other friends. They have this app on Google Play Store for ordering drinks only. I think they should even include food items in it for the convenience of the customers. Prices of drinks go up if someone orders it and go down if no one is ordering it. It is a very good concept.
XXX Fries: It was with 3 flavours. One was plain, 2nd with cheese flavour and 3rd with peri peri masala. 3/5 on taste.
Loaded Fries: Fries with processed cheese on top. Nothing great. Ones in MacDonalds and Burger King are much better. 3/5 on taste.
Chainees Chilly Chicken: Chicken was tender and the taste was decent. 3.5/5 on taste.
Fish Fingers with Sauce: I could not taste the type of fish used but the flavor was average. 3/5 on taste.
Jalapeno Mac N Cheese: All my friends loved this but I thought it was good and nothing great. Not comparable with one’s servers in Irish Hosue. 3.5/5 on taste.
Karara Seekh: It was filled with cheese but not a great flavour of chicken or seekh. 3.5/5 on taste.
Kurkure Vegetables: My friends liked it and ordered one more of this. For me it was ok. 2.5/5 on taste.
Paneer Tikka Pizza: Thin crust pizza with good toppings and taste. 3.5/5 on taste.
Paneer Tikka: Very soft paneer and excellent in taste. The marinate made it very tasty. 4.5/5 on taste.
Penne Masala Mafia: Flavor was good. 3/5 on taste.
TBSE Mexican Beans Nachos: Taste was good with crunchy nachos. Not comparable to the one in Irish House. 3/5 on taste.
Yin Yin Prawns: Big tiger prawns with tail on. I hate it when they do not remove the tail of the prawn. Why should customer dirty their hands in removing it? The taste was good. 3/5 on taste.
Me and my friend who do not drink alcohol ordered many of the non-alcoholic drinks like Chill Out, Forever Young, Ginger Kaffir Lime, Orange Gini, Pommie and Tangy Mojito. I liked only Tangy Mojito. Rest all were OK.
Overall this is a good place for people who love to drink but not a great place for...

Read moreDisastrous Experience: Harassment by Staff and Manager
recently visited Bar Stock Exchange with a group of friends to celebrate a special occasion. Sadly, what should have been a memorable evening turned into a nightmare due to the appalling behavior of the staff, particularly the guards, and even the manager. I am writing this review to share my harrowing experience and discourage others from enduring similar mistreatment.
Upon arrival, we encountered a distressing incident involving one of our friends who was singled out and denied entry by the guards without any valid reason. Despite calmly presenting his valid identification, they rudely refused him entry, displaying an absurd level of bias and discrimination. This discriminatory action not only left our friend humiliated but also marred the overall atmosphere of the establishment.
To make matters worse, the guards' unacceptable behavior extended to me, a woman within our group. They displayed an utter lack of respect, resorting to yelling and shoving when dealing with customers. As someone who values personal space and expects basic courtesy, their conduct was beyond reproach. Their actions were not only degrading but also completely unnecessary and uncalled for. It is disheartening to think that such behavior is tolerated within the management of Bar Stock Exchange.
As we tried to reason with the staff and report the incidents to the manager, we were met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. The manager's response was far from satisfactory, as they failed to address our concerns adequately or provide any form of apology for the distressing treatment we endured. It is deeply disappointing to witness such poor customer service and complete disregard for customer well-being in an establishment that should prioritize customer satisfaction.
The entire experience left us feeling violated, disrespected, and completely robbed of the joy we had anticipated for our special occasion. The staff and manager of Bar Stock Exchange exhibited a complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic human decency. No customer should ever have to endure such harassment and mistreatment.
I strongly advise potential patrons to reconsider visiting Bar Stock Exchange until the management takes concrete steps to address the systemic issues within their establishment. The behavior exhibited by the staff, guards, and even the manager is utterly unacceptable, and it is imperative that such behavior is not condoned or perpetuated within the hospitality industry.
In conclusion, my friends and I experienced nothing short of harassment and disrespect during our visit to Bar Stock Exchange. It is my sincere hope that this review raises awareness and encourages the management to rectify their shortcomings, ensuring that no other customers endure such distressing treatment...
