There are days when you don't want to order food at home neither do you want to travel really far. On one such day, we decided to visit this place very close to where I stay! The Bombay Cartel a resto pub is located on Level 3 of the Hubtown Skybay Mall very close to Breach Candy area. The mall also is home to Nitro Gym, Candy and Green and Cafe Filli. Bombay Cartel has been operative since past 4 months or so now and has chic interiors, looks very plush. It is an all veg place primarily looking at the regular clientele around the this place.

A perfect setup for private parties and a cool place to hang out, this place is definitely to watch out for. They run interesting offers during happy hours on alcohol and wines on different days of the week. They have a vast menu and serve Asian cuisine, both oriental as well as Indian along with Continental and Italian. Its impressive to see so many eating options at a place which is primarily a pub. The true vibe of this place can be felt post 11pm when the lights go dim and the volume of music picks up. Bombay Cartel has come up with a great concept of retaining its clients and are open to selling liquor at bottle rates which is usually cheaper than peg format. Here one one can buy a bottle of alcohol of their preference, drink as much as they want and park the bottle with the restaurant, come back and have from the same bottle until it is over. A great idea I believe.

Talking about what all we tried at The Bombay Cartel -

We started with soup - Teppisti Crema a thick broth mushroom soup mixed well with herbs and served along with crouton. Lovely way to begin the meal, I simply loved it highly recommended and must try. Moving to starters, from the quick bites section we had the Pull Apart Masala Pav and Peek-aa-Loo. Peek-aa-Loo is the aloo bomb, stuffed potatoes with chaat filling with vermicelli on top. However the clear favorite has to be the Pull Apart Masala Pav amongst the two. I could actually get the taste and essence of street food maintained in this one. Highly recommended.

Next we tried the Charles' Marbles, Cilantro Cottage Cheese Bites and Spicy Burglary. Amongst these I would definitely recommend to try Charles' Marbles and Spicy Burglary in that order. Former is corn cheese balls marinated with spicy schezwan sauce. An awesome twist given to plain corn cheese balls. And Spicy Burglary were jalapeno poppers in Bombay Cartel style. Cilantro Cottage Cheese Bites definitely needs some rework. The Corriander marination (too much of it) doesn't really work or add to the taste.

To go with food, we ordered for few mocktails - Peru Cremolada, Sky Dive, Tukser and Red Snapper. Amongst mocktails I always prefer ones which have cream in it. Tusker and Sky Dive were my personal favorites. Tusker was a blend of mango and strawberry combined with fresh cream. Sky Dive was a blend of Orange, Blue Curacao and Cream. The other ones which we tried were Peru Cremolada - Guava blended with ice, Tabasco and lime juice and Red Snapper which was fresh watermelon juice shaken with basil with pepper rimmed glass. Both these drinks were also good and one can choose basis their preference.

Moving away from starters, we tried a Roll - Tawa Troll which was paneer tikka roll before moving to the mains. Nicely presented in a dish and cut into pieces. Served with mint chutney. Recommended. From the mains, we tried couple of rice options. Green Thai Curry with Jamsine Rice and Triple Schezwan Fried Rice with Manchurian. Of the two, I preferred Triple Schezwan Rice.

For dessert, we tried Drowning Glory which was gooey dark chocolate cake served in a mug, served warm. A nice way to end our meal All-in-all a nice experience at The Bombay Cartel. Would recommend to pay a visit especially to chill and party with friends or family in case you...

The Bombay Cartel is located near the famous Mahalaxmi Temple. The name Bombay cartel itself give us a reach feeling about this restaurant. This restaurant is located inside a building where there are more restaurants on the other floors. This restaurant is located on the third floor of the building. This restaurant has a lift to go up to the third floor. As you enter to the third floor you will be in another world this place also has parking facility. The ambience of the place is too good this place have live bar facility so that you can order your drink easily and this place also play matches on a big screen so you can enjoy your drinks with your favorite match streaming live on a big screen. Bombay cartel, A multiple cuisines United to serve you the best possible food dishes. The Bombay Cartel is located near Mahalaxmi temple and has really vibrant Ambiance and delicious food to have a amazing time time with your buddies. One of the best part of the restaurant is their humble and friendly staff. They have really great ideas about the dishes. And almost all the dishes can be prepared in jain varients.

The place is on 3rd floor and has live screening for the sports lovers. Being a chilled and amazing Ambiance, they also have really nice bar counter as well. Their drinks are really good ans refreshing.

The restaurant serves nice varieties of Indian, continental, Chinese and Italian diahes. The food is really lip smacking and amazing. The food presentation is really good. They have sitting arrangement of around 80+ people approx. Out of their amazing food dishes we tried,

Pull apart masala pav: Pull apart pav(bread) has really nice and amazing variety. Instead of cheese the gravy of pav bhaji was made our day. The little bit of cheese and amazing flavored bhaji had left really great taste.

Chana Jor garam Nachos: This fusion of chana jor garam and the cheese is a must try dish. Instead of nachos, the big pieces of chana jor Garam was fab. To have with the cheese. The dish had got really nice spicy flavors. The refreshing flavors were really amazing. Highly recommended.

Schezwan noodles: The best Schezwan noodles ever tried.. The jain variation of this noodles is really amazing. The taste was really nice.. All spices were added properly. The noodles were soft and properly cooked. The presentation was also good.

Sabzi Vilayti: Their Indian cuisine is very limited, but the gravy and the crunchy veggies were really good. Bit of spicy red gravy was really good with laccha paratha and kulcha. The preparation is really good. North Indian cuisine lover will definitely like it.

Along with it we had a drinks and shakes. The drinks we really amazing the creamy flavors and the presentation was really good. The hot todi was also a nice option to have with the meal. Also we had Ferrero with sneakers, nicely presented shake with sneakers on top and good amount of chocolate. The shake could have been little more thick. Otherwise the taste and sweetness was good.

The desserts have really limited options but you can definitely try their Sizzling brownie. The brownie had a nice flavors. Being a chocolate lover and sweet tooth really liked the dessert. Also they had caramelized popcorns in it.

Overall had a great time with friends. Want to thank management and entire staff for amazing hospitality and amazing...

We opted to go with The Bombay Cartel for it's amazing food and well popular drinks. We tried a lot of dishes, ranging from appetizers to drinks and I'll walk you through each and every one of those. ▪︎ For Appetizers • Charles Marbles These well cooked cheesy crispy balls dipped in schezwan should be your go to appetizer at The Bombay Cartel. Perfect Quality, Quantity & Taste • Paneer Tikka The all time Indian favorite starter is a popular one at Bombay Cartel. Well Marinated cottage cheese taste very well with the drinks. ▪︎ For Mains Paneer Makhani Matka Biryani Okay, people who say Veg Biryani Doesn't exist definitely haven't tried this one at Bombay Cartel. One of my favorite dishes at The Cartel was this Matka Biryani. The Biryani was iconic, with perfectly cooked basmati rice mixed into paneer makhani gravy.
