Egg station — Restaurant in Mumbai

A hidden treasure I must say. We may have passed Egg station several times but it didn’t strike us to try the place our till last weekend finally. We decided to drop in and try a few dishes as the menu looked interesting. It’s a neat and clean place with a few tables placed on the street. It’s a place where families can come without any hesitation of creepy crowd or feel any awkwardness. The crowd was extremely decent and urban. The food is to drool over for sure. The portion sizes are amazing too. We tried 3 things and I can easily say that this place is a feather in the cap of all egg eateries around.

Mexican egg roll. Was a spicy gravy with a tad bit oil and garnished with cheese omelette rolls on the sides. Was mouth watering and had a super punch of flavours. Was Heavy but could not stop eating it.

Egg kofta curry. Bay leaves in this brownish yellow curry added a lovely flavour and the whole boiled eggs seeemed to be stuffed with Bhurji kind of a filling. I maybe wrong but seemed so. The flavour was perfect. Remarkable actually.

Triple egg. This is the hottest selling dish here as I have read tons of reviews about this and now I know why all love it so much cos even we loved it a lot. Was quite a huge portion of half fried eggs and cheese with some layer of scrambled eggs in the center. Simply indulgent.

We couldn’t finish even half of this food as we were just 2 of us but if u go in a bigger group it’s worth trying all these dishes and more. The owners are extremely warm and friendly guys. We really hit it off well and we are sure to be back here soon for another...

Visited this place with my friend ,it's a small quaint place but don't underestimate this place with its small setting. It offers delicious egg varieties which I didn't know even existed!!! Coming to the food:- Triple egg🍳:- This is a half fry or a sunny side up cooked to perfection . Fusion masala half fry eggs cooked in hot butter,garlic and ginger paste and fresh spicy masala made of spices . Served with two buttered pav and decorated with cheese and some spices. Tasted so great.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This dish is quite filling for two people.

Kashmiri egg ghotala:- Ghotala is a thick gravy made with raw eggs cooked with butter ,veggies such as chopped onions,capscicum and spices. This one is red thick gravy made with Kashmiri masala. This is actually quite filling and it tastes best with buttered pav which they provide two at the start. This tastes great with plain rice . This gravy is a like a main course which is quite filling and it's spicy in taste .

Egg dosa:- Another great dish which j would recommend.Delectable Fusion of omelette and dosa concept where the omelette is used as a dosa and which is stuffed with a scrumptious filling of grated cheese and veggies chopped onions, tomatoes,spring onions and fresh spices and herbs.

My experience here was fabulous ,I would love to visit this place again and again and at least try their triple egg . The dishes are cheap too .Our bill was 410/- and we had ordered extra buttered pav and thumbs up also so it's quite...

Egg station is located at Borivali West.. Any one can reach there by auto from Borivali station..

Egg station is all about eggs..

. There are varities of options to choose.. And the options are amazing in the menu card..

. They have bring out with awesome experiment with eggs and spices..

. It is small place..

. But, move over people love to go there and have something delicious about eggs..

. The sitting arrangements are nice..

. And the place, surrounding is good..

The following I had -

. In starters- Boil tava dry (sliced boil eggs cooked with garlic & onions and tossed with Indian spices)

.It was amazing dish.. perfect for starter.. well balanced dish to have..

.In omelette- Royal omelette (onions, tomatoes, spring onions, mushrooms, green chillies, loaded with cheese)

Yummy dish.. the omelette was nicely cooked. With cheese.. as the word cheese 🤤 .. serve with pav..

. In chef's special dish- Mexican egg roll (omelette stuffed with cheese rolled and cut into pieces & topped with chef's special gravy gratted with cheese)

As there are more ingridents in the dish. The taste was also more delicious.. 👌😋serve with pav.

.In rice- katki kheema rice (basmati rice made minced boiled eggs tossed with onions garlic with chef's special spices)

It was good in taste 👌 well balanced dish..

. The service staff is kind and polite and do help in suggestiing dishes..
