Fire Bowl - Versova, Andheri West — Restaurant in Mumbai

On March 21,2023 I had been to Fire Bowl, Yari road for dinner with my daughter and son as it was my big feast, Jamshedi Navroz. I stay at Yari Road and do get parcel from this place off and on,but that day thought of visiting for dinner there and lo....was shocked with the experience. Though food was ok in quality and good in quantity, experience with staff and service was found extremely poor for the money they charge. The ac hall was not satisfactory at all and with two huge families it got claustrophobic. Drinking water was warm and on asking four times for ice, they brought in tiny bowl as if obliging by getting it. Since we were a bit late due to visitors on festive occassion, we were sitting for dinner till last and suddenly all lights were switched off with only spot light on our table. The scenario was like villains planning in old hindi films and we had to beg to keep few lights on. Their behaviour pointed out...please leave..we have to go home and we requested to parcel up the rest of the food..this ruining our feast completely. When parcel came, gravies were trickling out of the box..and lo...it was a big mess. Do not understand..whether staff is untrained or owner is cost-cutting. Believe me..my house is comparatively a pleasant and well-lighted place to celebrate an occassion. I will never forgive " Fire Bowl" to ruin my Navroz..and, swear will never step in there ever. Please...if you are for good ambience, pleasant staff, clean atmosphere...do avoid this place because the money they charge.. doesn't...

Fire bowl. They own 5 branches and all of them are well maintained. Same service provided across branches. Staff's are trained like a 5 star hotel staff. They are very diligent towards providing services. In terms of quality, hygiene, taste, etc no one can beat FB. They manage everything so well. I have visited a hundred times there but has never been disappointed. It's like everytime I got a litttle more, some more, even more.... this incident is regarding my recent visit. I made a visit to FB with my wife and a 7 month infant baby. The food was served to us and the staff & owner saw my wife handling the baby in one hand and having food from other. They saw this and came to us asking for the baby and they took him from us so that we can have the food comfortably. This touched are heart. They handled the baby with care and love. FB is very much likely for chinese cuisine and recent year they have introduced mughlai cuisine as well. I have never tried mughlai but very soon in my next visit I shall do. However I am pritty sure they will be amazing in serving mughlai as well. Above all FB is a fantastic restaurant with great ambience, food , staff, ample parking and...

Food is decent. Chinese cuisine is good portion size is also good. I ordered Thai Tom Yum Soup, was unlike anything Thai I have had before. Just salt added to chicken stock. We returned it to ask them to remake it again in Thai style. When it turned up again it was the same no taste. Then i realised ordering soups is my mistake. So we were ok with the food but the over all ambience is warm. I was served Thai Soup with a stainless steel cutlery dinner spoon which they call a soup spoon. When I asked them are you serving soup or chicken shorba they said in premium AC seating we serve in stainless steel only. So was amazed at his answer and didn’t have any reaction. They could use some nice bone chine soup Spoons or Ceramic Soup Spoons in thier AC Seating. When you charge customers you should also be able to serve with the same amount of courtesy & detail.
