Excellent burgers. One of the best I have tried. I had gone to Bandra with a friend and wanted to visit a restaurant for dinner. I opened up Zomato and saw few places and found Frisbees with a very high rating. So caught a rickshaw and navigated on Google maps. In the lane on which this restaurant is supposed to be there, rickshaw driver told us, he cannot enter as Rickshaws are not allowed. So we had to take a walk to reach here. Locality is a residential place and not too many people, traffic and with the narrow lane. The place is difficult to notice, as it is very small, but the location was exactly as mentioned in Zomato via Google Maps. The place is very small. It had only 3-4 tables.
We saw the menu which had many varieties of burgers. I asked the young manager about the best ones and he recommended Crunchy chicken burger and Jamaican chicken burger to me. I ordered Jamaican one. My friend who prefers to eat vegetarian food wanted to order Ratatouille burger but the manager told her that It won’t have any patty inside, so she ordered Frisbees’ original veg burger.
Jamaican chicken burger: This was a totally different burger than what I have tried any burger place till date. Burger came with fries on the side which were soft. Burger itself was big and had thick stripes of chicken inside. It also had well-cooked mushrooms and few vegetables. It was full of sauces including a green colored one. This made it a very messy burger. The taste was excellent. One of the best burgers I have ever tried. Definitely among top 3, till date. A must try. The cost of Rs. 300 is also not bad. (Taste – 4.5/5)
Frisbees’ original veg burger: I only had a bite of this. Veg patty inside was similar to ones found in burger king. I am not a fan of veg burgers, so will not comment much, but this one was good. The cost of Rs. 190 is also not bad. (Taste – 3/5)
We went there on Wednesday , on which they have 15% discount.
Recommendations for owners: Please give finger bowl at the end of the meal, as your burgers are way to messy and full of sauces. Even after using 5 tissues my hands were sticky.
In an all, a must try burger place according to me. Come out of comfort zone of MacDonald’s and Burger king and go and visit this small place for...

If you're a burger lover in Mumbai, Fribees – The Burger Peddlers in Bandra West is definitely worth a visit. It’s one of the top-rated burger joints I’ve been to—not the best for me, but certainly a strong contender.
What sets them apart? The buns. Oh, the buns. 🥯 They bake their own buns in-house, and it makes a huge difference. Soft, warm, juicy, and packed with flavor—this was hands down the best burger bun I’ve had till date.
🍔 What We Tried:
Chicken Smash Burger – ⭐ Must-Try The absolute showstopper! Smash-style chicken patty that’s super juicy and flavorful, layered with sauces, greens, and the heavenly bun. A total hit.
Chicken Nashville Burger A spicy, fried chicken delight topped with cheese sauces. Slightly on the drier side for me, but great for those who love their burgers crunchy and bold.
Chicken Shotgun Burger A loaded burger with a massive crispy patty, stuffed cheese, omelette, and veggies. Tasty and filling.
🍟 Sides We Ordered:
Chicken Saucy Fries Fries topped with an assortment of sauces and minced chicken. A solid companion to the burgers.
Cheesy Fried Chicken Threads Long, crunchy fried chicken pieces smothered in cheesy sauce and black sesame. A cheesy-crispy bomb, especially for fried chicken fans.
They also have plenty of chicken and buff options, as well as sizzlers, sliders, and more.
📍Location & Ambience:
Fribees is located in Bandra West, near the sea. A quick auto ride from Bandra Station (West) costs around ₹35–45. The place is small with limited seating, so be prepared for a short wait. However, their recent renovation has really upgraded the vibe.
👨🍳 Staff & Service:
The staff is polite and courteous, though service is on the slower side—mainly because their buns are freshly baked per order. Totally worth the wait in my opinion.
Verdict: 4⭐/5 If you're a burger fan, Fribees deserves a spot on your list. While not every burger blew me away, the Chicken Smash Burger alone is reason enough to visit. I’m knocking off a star only because some of the other options weren’t as wow as the smash—but overall, this place delivers a seriously good...
Read moreI recently visited Frisbees in Bandra, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Despite the hype around the place, almost everything I ordered was underwhelming, both in taste and quality.
To begin with, the Chicken Fries with Cheese Sauce were a letdown. The cheese sauce had a grainy texture, lacked creaminess, and didn’t blend well with the fries. It had a stale aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy.
Next came the Buff Smash Burger, which frankly wasn’t a smash burger at all. The patty resembled a dry, roadside kebab – and I say that with no exaggeration. In fact, some street vendors do it better. It lacked the juiciness, the crisp edges, and the bold flavor you’d expect from a proper smash burger.
The Chicken Nashville Burger was equally disappointing. The “spicy red masala” was all show and no substance – just a red-colored oily coating with absolutely no flavor or heat. It was so greasy and bland that I couldn't bring myself to finish even the patty.
The buns, which were described as in-house multigrain, were almost burnt when served. They had a bitter, charred taste that overpowered everything else.
To top it all off, the wait time was over 45 minutes, which felt excessive given the quality of food served. The service didn’t justify the delay, and the overall experience left me feeling that the visit was a waste of time and money.
In short, Frisbees Bandra felt like a classic case of style over substance. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for good burgers or a worthwhile...
