Ambience and Crowd: We visited on a weekend around 11:00 PM and the place was packed. It’s quite congested, so don’t expect much elbow room. We had to wait for 20 minutes before getting a table, which wasn’t surprising given its reputation for cheap drinks. They have two sections – AC and non-AC. We opted for the AC section, which was relatively comfortable.

Service and Drinks: The staff was polite and fast, which was impressive given the crowd. The liquor here is very affordable, which explains why it’s so popular. It’s perfect if you’re on a tight budget and looking for a place to hang out with friends.

Food Experience: The food, however, was disappointing. We tried the Chicken Crispy, a recommendation from the waiter, but it was dry and tough to chew. On the bright side, we enjoyed the chakli with Schezwan sauce.

Facilities: Despite the heavy crowd, the washrooms were clean and there’s enough parking space available, which is a big plus in Bandra.

Yatch has been around since decades and has become an integral part of the Bandra West lore. Considered by many the first 'shady' bar that college kids as well as office workers visited, the place just got a makeover. I was a little skeptical to visit post that as I have many memories attached to the old Yatch, but I was left surprised. Once you settle into the new environment which is basically a touch up to the old bar, everything is essentially the same. The 'Chinese' food still has that extra spicy Masala taste, drinks are just as cheap and the staff is just as no-nonsencial!
