It was my first visit to the place so would like to keep my review about this one time visit. I will have to eat here few more times to rate their consistency.
We started with a really bold choice of a mutton starter. Bold because usually Mutton dishes are not cooked well in Mumbai restaurants and boy we were proved wrong! This was one of the best mutton dishes I have had in recent years. - mutton ghee roast. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection.
Having a good experience with the goat's meat we planned to try out another mutton dish, Mutton bhuna. It was beautiful! The onions were bhunofied superbly. We licked the gravy off the plates, and now the mutton meat being really tender and cooked to perfection again, we had become more explorative as our trust in their kitchen grew.
For the vegetarians on the table we ordered Paneer Chilly . The paneer quality was really good. And the dish was exactly how a paneer chilly should taste without any mistakes. We ordered 2 Paneer tikkas because now we want to know how good were these guys with their Paneer Dishes. Barbequed in sarso ka tel, it was hard to find any fault in the tikka as well. One of my non- vegetarian friends claimed- this was the most paneer he has had in a single sitting. We moved on to get some chicken starters . Called for chicken 65! Well done 👍🏼 the beautiful mixture of kadipata and garlic with pepper hit our taste buds at the right spot.
We saw some Malabar parathas moving around the floor as we were juggling between the outside verandah space and the inner sitting area. Looking at those parathas we called for a ghee roast again and a Maharashtrian chicken curry. Now the ghee roast was as great as the first round. The chicken was really lovely but it was anything but a maharashtrian preparation. We were hoping for a rasa style of curry to end the meal with our rice, but the gravy was thick, some kind of North Indian / mughlai version of a Maharashtrian dish, so we ordered a tandoori roti to lick it off the kadai. We were now left with some rice, so we felt like calling for a dal fry to end the meal and Oh God ! What a lip smacking soul filling arhar dal to end our meal with.
People might complain about service here, young staff trying to figure out but isn't that the case in our country . They weren't rude, tried their best and had one mistake in bringing the order. The place was crowded, so yes the service might not be udipi fast but isn't the little waiting time why we go to sit in restaurants. We were having tuborgs and a quarter of Signature whisky.
The place is really loud. Thanks to my friends who speak at a highe pitch, we were asked to sit inside after 11pm since we were too loud in the verandah.
Good Food. Shall go there...

Update: Clarification on Our Recent Experience
Let us be clear about our experience at your establishment. While you seem to be more focused on defending your hospitality than addressing the issues at hand, we will not let your selective account of events go unchallenged.
Yes, we were a group of 10, but we communicated early on about the change in numbers due to traffic and movement uncertainties. The second table was cleared promptly, so your claim of us "treating your restaurant like a living room" is baseless. We were not there to "take up space" but to enjoy a meal and drinks, as any paying customer would expect.
The way your staff handled the situation with the bottle of alcohol was completely unprofessional. We were informed that we would not be served a bottle because your manager felt it wasn't worth it for a table that might "sit for two hours" — a statement that was not only disrespectful but also inaccurate, as we were not even ordering that bottle. When you are in the service industry, your responsibility is to treat every customer with respect.
Furthermore, the repeated errors with our food order were not just minor mistakes—they were a consistent inconvenience that no paying customer should have to endure. It's clear that your establishment's idea of service is far from acceptable.
We want to make it clear that your attitude toward customer care is appalling. If you are going to pride yourself on "hospitality," perhaps you should first take a long, hard look at your own practices and the way you treat your guests. You might want to reflect on what it means to offer a welcoming environment—something your team clearly lacks. So maybe take the next hour to reflect on that.
Lastly, I would suggest you focus on building your reputation based on actual customer satisfaction, rather than relying on selective positive reviews or excuses for poor service.
We have no intention of returning to your restaurant, as it is clearly not a place where you value customers. Consider this our final communication on...
Read moreGoogle just notified me about a reply to my review and so I'm here again this time to comment about my experience.
I visited your place for the first time with a friend as we thought of having a few drinks. We placed our first order which was a bottle of Tuborg and a Jamaican breezer. The beer was served into my glass and the moment I sipped into it I was so disappointed because it was just cool when it should have been chilled cold. My fault for not checking or maybe giving it back in exchange for a chilled one. My friends breezer too was as expected the same because you'll must have them stored in the same refrigerator that's set at the wrong temperature. Your air-conditioning didn't help in keeping the drinks cool either as it was probably set to around 26 degrees or higher which was not at all cool but I'm not complaining as I didn't sweat.
Anyway onto the next order we thought of ordering a few nibbles to go down with the by then warm drinks and so went with Boiled eggs and Chicken Peri Peri. I don't know about the other foods on the menu but the Chicken was just so dry and boring. I mean it just didn't feel like wow even after dipping them in the sauce. As for the boiled eggs well I guess no one can go wrong with that so that's why I have given a one star for that dish.
Your seating arrangement too has all chairs. I was looking for a more comfortable sofa like or bench like sitting maybe if you'll blend that along you will then give people the option of choosing from a relaxing lounge like experience to a very upright school chair like experience.
As for why I didn't contact the manager:..... I was in a hurry to leave but I did share these points to the waiter for improvement and he acknowledged the same. I'm sure he must have brought it up to his manager/seniors if I failed to do so because that part...
