Joey's Pizza offers a delightful culinary experience, especially for pizza lovers seeking bold and flavorful toppings. The taste of their pizzas truly stands out, making them a worthwhile indulgence. I was particularly impressed with the unique flavor profiles. The Tornado Chicken pizza delivers a satisfying kick with its spicy and savory combination, a must-try for those who enjoy a bit of heat. The Kheema pizza is another standout, boasting a rich and aromatic minced meat topping that's both hearty and delicious. Vegetarians, fear not! Joey's doesn't disappoint with their Paneer Makhni pizza. The creamy and flavorful paneer, combined with the rich makhni sauce, creates a truly decadent and satisfying vegetarian option. It's a testament to their diverse menu that caters to a wide range of palates. The value for money at Joey's is also commendable. You get generous portions and high-quality ingredients without breaking the bank, which is a definite plus. However, while the food shines, there are areas where Joey's could significantly improve. The management seems to be a point of concern. Perhaps a more streamlined system could enhance efficiency and customer service. The seating arrangements also leave something to be desired. A more comfortable and organized seating area would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. Perhaps the most significant drawback is the lengthy wait times. While good food is worth waiting for, the delays at Joey's can be excessive, especially during peak hours. This can be frustrating for customers eager to enjoy their meal. If Joey's can address these issues – improving management practices, optimizing seating, and reducing wait times – they could truly elevate their restaurant to the next level. The delicious food is already there; now they need to create a more seamless and enjoyable dining experience to match. Despite these shortcomings, the quality of the pizza itself makes Joey's worth considering, especially if you're willing to overlook the potential wait and focus on the...
Read moreAs someone who has been a loyal customer of Joyes Pizza for years, it’s disappointing to say that my recent experience was nothing short of appalling.
The pizza, which once used to be flavorful and consistent, tasted bland this time. When I politely raised the concern, the manager responded rudely and got defensive rather than acknowledging the issue or offering an apology. That set the tone for the rest of an already frustrating visit.
Things got worse when I requested the leftover pizza to be packed. The staff mishandled it and dropped a slice. Under normal circumstances, I’d have let it slide—but already upset, I asked for a replacement. Instead of handling it gracefully, they argued that they couldn’t bake an entire pizza just for a slice, and when they reluctantly agreed, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. To make matters worse, they gave me a smaller slice (from a small-sized pizza) instead of one that matched my medium pizza. When I asked about the size mismatch, they deflected the issue, making excuses about slice sizes and toppings—none of which matched the Rs. 55 they charge for toppings.
We also ordered cheese sticks, which turned out to be thin, bland slices of pizza with barely any cheese on them. As for the beverages, we were told that a 500ml Coke would cost Rs. 60—which is fine—but they didn’t actually provide a 500ml bottle. When questioned, they flatly denied ever saying it would be 500ml and instead blamed us for making false accusations.
To top it all off, they tried to charge us extra for the takeaway boxes—something unheard of in any decent restaurant. When I questioned it, they became rude and condescending, acting like they were doing me a favor by removing the charge.
The staff is untrained, the ambiance is loud and chaotic, and sadly, the food no longer lives up to the hype. What’s worse is the sheer mental stress they put their customers through. I’m not sure what changed, but Joyes Pizza has certainly lost its charm—and...
Read moreJoey’s can be a go-to place for comfort pizza lovers. Known for its generous toppings and unbeatable value, this legendary pizza joint continues to draw in massive crowds — and for good reason.
We tried three of their signature offerings, all on the pan pizza base, which is made from their fresh, soft dough. Though we went for the small size (4 slices), each pizza was surprisingly filling — the perfect way to sample a variety.
— First up, the Joey’s Special — a meat lover’s dream. Topped with chicken salami, barbecue chicken, roast chicken, and onion, this pizza came fully loaded. The pan base was soft with just the right amount of chew, and every bite was packed with bold, smoky, and savory flavors.
— Next was the Chicken Tikka Pizza — a delicious fusion of Indian and Italian. The tikka chicken was tender and flavorful, paired with onion and coriander, which added freshness and a herby kick. It’s the kind of pizza that bridges the gap between a classic slice and a North Indian craving.
— Our third pick was the Szechuan Chicken Pizza — mildly spicy and packed with personality. With Szechuan-style chicken, spring onion, and capsicum, this one had a subtle heat and a unique twist that made it stand out from the rest.
To start things off, we also ordered their Cheese Garlic Bread — a satisfying appetizer topped with a trio of gooey cheeses. It was crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and a great cheesy prelude to the main event.
No pizza meal is complete without a fizzy companion, and here, a Coke or Pepsi can really hit the spot alongside these hearty slices.
As for the ambience, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a cult-favorite joint: bustling, energetic, and always packed. With wait times averaging 30–45 minutes, Joey’s is clearly no hidden gem — but the constant crowds are a testament to its loyal fanbase. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. They are also as quick as they can be. And yes, the pizzas are absolutely...
