Lalco Cafe — Restaurant in Mumbai

Was staying at Lalco Residency, my mother and father were unwell and hence required special food (the one without too much oil, special roti's, a little extra sprinkle and sometimes a little less) We were very worried about their health and did not know how and whom to approach, when we met this kind gentleman from the cafe and spoke to him about our predicament, he immediately got into action and to our pleasant surprise there was an army of good people at this cafe who have nursed my mum and dad and put them on the road to recovery ! People may find the food, service, ambience exceptional, but I find the people serving at this cafe beyond anybody's imagination. The battalion goes beyond JUST serving good food, they serve selflessly and totally unconditionally with a lot of heart. A special shout to the always smiling Vinay, the stoic yet always helpful Ashish, the silent yet forever working round the clock Kiran, the silent ninja warrior Amit, and not forgetting Uday and the captain of them all to keep them motivated and ever so warm - Suraj (this guy can accomplish anything for you and with such promptness and kindness) ! So on a trip near Mahakali Caves area searching for something good around for dinner we stumbled across Lalco Cafe. The name is quite quirky and honestly is what caught our eye. This cafe is located on the first floor of Lalco Residency. Almost missed it while reaching because of the construction going in front of the residency.

So they also have a very good breakfast buffet with a plethora of good options at just 300-350 per person. So if you are nearby this place during the mornings do drop in for an amazing breakfast spread. We were here for an early dinner. It is a unique place. Its not like your regular cafe. Being inside a residency, it looks like a flat was converted into this cafe.

It gives you a kind of loving and warm vibes as if you are at home about to have some delicious cooked with love food. And we loved it. We oredered a smoothies, 2 pizzas, a chaat snack, a gravy and naans to go with it. The smoothie was a banana strawberry mix, felt very healthy. The snack chaat item was sev puri and it was also good, very filling considering it was chaat item.

The pizzas were paneer makhni and butter chicken pizza, both small 8" inch type pan pizzas with thick crust. Delicious sauce, good amount of toppings. and a very delicious after taste. Loved each and every bite of this pizza! Definetly visiting again to try out their...

Recently visited this place lalco cafe located in Andheri East inside lalco residency. Came here for the dinner 🍽️ place is nice they server some multi cuisine also they have buffet option too! Food is great stuff are very welcoming and services is quick!

Cold Coffee : Smooth and just delicious just the perfect thing to start with!

Chicken Pizza with Masala Fries : Thick base topping with lots cheese and chicken combo with crispy masala fries 🍟 for the starters although the pizza was samll but it was good enough between 2 people.

Chicken Makhani with roti : if i have to type describe it in one word i say "delicious" chicken makhani was just finger licking delicious full or flavour perfectly balanced sweet and spice! Enjoy it although if it was server with naan with would have be alot better!
