Location: a hidden gem literally. This place is located in a small lane almost invisible between a chicken and a jwellers show. A small billboard will guide you. Once you enter the gully the doubt may creep into your mind.. am I at the right place? But a small print out with arrow direction will guide you

I went to this place on a weekday around 9:30 am. Surprisingly I was the only one placing the order. It may be more crowded in the early morning hour's. A simple menucard will guide you on the available menu.

I went for a double anda onion dosa. They offer a small place where you can dine in.

Tase: the dosa was good. The chutney could have been better.

Ambience: Read only if you care about it.

As I mentioned earlier it's a hidden place inside a gully. The gully is congested and not a very hygienic by the looks of it. There was a smell of chicken shop. If you can't take...

Maddus @ opp I.I.T Powai

This always and will always be one of my favourite joints for late night/early morning snacks if i am around Powai. Varieties include South Indian snacks like Idli, Vada, Dosa, Dal Vada, Anda Dosa(Egg Dosa) etc and all this go well with the freshly made Coffee (bru instant coffee is what they use).

The joint opens at 4am and is on till 10am on weekdays during which you can relish their lovely south indian delicacies mentioned above. Make sure you try out their Anda (egg) dosa and coffee and i bet you won't regret it. Although the place and the way to get there is not easy to locate and is a bit "shabby" but the quality and taste of food you get there is something worth the wait ...

If you are hungry and need the best Brkfast, this is the place to reach out. Awesome authentic South Indian food. Fresh, crunchy, tasty and yest light on the pocket. I was surprised to see it was crowded at 4.30 AM. Best meduwada, great dall wada, superb fried idly and the eggdosa is light yet sumptuous. 1 star less for ambiance. Quite a dingy spot. But food matters and many times best food is found at small places. The owner is humble polite and they run the place within family. All the best wishes for Maddu Mess.
