Moon Shine Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

Moonshine cafe and bar as the name suggests is meant for all the party lovers who love to party all night long while the moon shines down upon them. From the moment we stepped in we loved the music playing and this place has some amazing music playing.

Location - It's located in andheri west opposite city mall just above the maruti showroom on the second floor. Very easy and convenient to locate.

Ambience - I really adored the ambience here. Dim lights with sinexreal good music sets you in a good mood. You can select from high chairs, low chairs and comfortable sofas as well. The, ceiling is covered with moonshine flashing their moonlight on us. Greenery around and a dance floor to make you dance away your blues.

Cocktails and Mocktails - They have a huge bar counter wtixked with a variety of alcohol. With such good music playing you will want to call for cocktails and dance a bit too.

Whiskey sour- This drink had a lot of froth on the top since it was beaten with egg whites. Well prepared and a perfect blend.

Martini - A pretty wine cocktail with infused cranberry juice. It's served in a, pretty martini glass and, is a treat for all wine lovers.

Safe sex on the beach - cranberry juice, orange juice with some mint leaves, cruahes ice and lemon wedges. This was my favourite mocktail in terms of taste and presentation.

Starters 5/5 A huge variety of starters to choose from and we really enjoyed all of them.

Chicken boti kebab - Tenders chunks of chicken wall marinated and served with salad and a delicious green chutney. I strongly recommend this starter.

Golden fried calamari - Small suzed calamari fried till crisp and golden and served with a delicious dip.

Spicy chicken dimsims - Five huge dimsims served here. It's well stuffed with delicious spicy chicken and enjoy with a variety of three delicious dips. I really lived these dimsims

Chicken Bau - Its a, steamed chicken bau with stuffed minced chicken kheema well spiced. Three huge chicken baus are served in the wooden basket. All steaming hot when opened. It's served with three delicious dips, vso enjoy them while they are hot.

Mutton seekh paratha- Delicious mutton seekh served over a huge paratha with inions and green chutney. We enjoyed the tender seekh kebabs.

Caesars salad - A fresh combination of salad leaves, fried crisp bread cubes, vegetables and salad dressing. It's served in a huge bowl and sufficient for two to three people. I loved the freshness and quantity here.

Main course 5/5 Keep in mind the quantity of one dish is sufficient for two people. So we called for two dishes and it was enough for four of us. But don't miss out on the main course since irs filled with flavors and you will love the presentation.

Mutton Korma - The thick mutton gravy is delicious and the mutton us, really well cooked and tender. It goes perfectly with the malbari parathe. It's best enjoyed when eaten with hands.

Seafood risotto - Mild flavour of fish cookedcwith risotto. A bland dish if you don't want to have anything spicy. It's served with crisp garlic bread which is a great combination with the risotto.

Dessert 5/5 They have an option of just two desserts in the nenu and I have a soft corner in my heart for cheesecake so yes, we called for two mawa, cheesecakes.

Mava cheesecake - This is seriously one of the best cheesecake I've had. It's topped with a scoop of ice cream and garnished with berries and orange pieces and served in a huge bowl.

Overall verdict - If you're a party person and love some cool cocktails over a couple of starters and conversation, this is the perfect place to be. Michael the manager on the shift was really courteous, polite and helped us understand the dishes and place the order as well. I strongly recommend this place to all my friends. Enjoy, sit back and unwind, you deserve a break. I'm surely visiting again...

"Mooshine Cafe and Bar" located on a busy street in Andheri Near by infinity mall you can take either taxis which will cost you 50rs or bus which will cost 15rs from Andheri station. Andheri now has a new bar call Moonshine Café Bar setting it's shop.This place is huge and ambience is consists of many different types of seating arrangement with with dark and red lights with attractive wall and ceiling decoration which gives an amazing look to this place. Look at what they have to offer and why you should consider it the next time you visit.The cocktail and the bar menu is divided into three sections namely “Mafia Highs” which has cocktails from the early thirties (a tradition of blending multiple rums, citrus and sweeteners with signature spices like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg). The second section is the “Groovy Seventies” which has concoctions that define that period (with a whole lotta puns) and the last section, “Iconic Millennial” that has cocktails that are, according to them, rebellious, dramatic and new age.You will find all types of drinks plus veg and non veg food as well. Good place for big party. Can easily accommodate somewhere around 40 to 50 people this place is great!!!. I don't know exactly but you need to think about parking and it's at place where super traffic so it will be better to leave early from home. The menu is not restricted to a particular cuisine but Indian dishes take the lead. What we liked is the variety of options that are available for any sort of foodie. If you’re into large spaces and good music, you should check it out. It has one of the bigger dance floors i have seen. Its a nice clear space for enjoying the music and grooving to the music. The lighting and furniture complement the look. Staff is professional and services given by them is good. The bartenders are pretty good too, staying on top of your orders. Especially James help us to pick some staters & cocktail which was really great choice and also explain about the dishes he was very helpful and professional at his work.

Somupie recommend 9/10 this place. After a while that I actually had a fun in a bar great music delicious food what else you need ? Highly recommended this place only problem is that it's far located.

Moonshine bar

Moonshine cafe and bar- A fabulous new place with great ambiance n cool decorations. I was fascinated with the rooftop settings.

Location

Ideally located opposite City mall and very near to Infinity mall. Well connected to nearby stations through public and private transport.

Ambiance

The real reason to come here is the atmosphere. The venue is pretty big with different sections, big enough for hosting large groups and families with the option of second level dining.

The first level is with the bar counter. The vibe was really good. The luxurious interiors and booming sound system. High ceilings and the tables were spread out very well. Everyone there seemed like good people enjoying the music n food.

The second level has rooftop seating arrangements. It's a newer rooftop and everything feels very clean and calm. Ambiance is idyllic n romantic in late hours.

Food

The menu was amazing with many choices. What impressed me the most was their extensive selection drinks and bar menu. The drinks are colorful and imaginative.

Service was freindly and attentive. Mr. Michael really took good care for us and suggested best suited dishes.

Analysis

✔Drinks 🔹Threesome- Blend of red bull, tequila and jagermeister. Super energetic cocktail to kick start the evening.

🔹Safe sex on the beach- Awesome mocktail of orange juice, peach and cranberry juice. Garnished lemon slice. Tasted amazing. Well crafted and refreshing.

🔹Burning desire- My personal fav. Composed of pineapple, passion fruit and rose water. Hints of pineapple dancing on your palate. Unique and went well with bar bites.

✔Starters

🔹Vegetable & Bean Tostadas- Traditional Mexican starter made with ingedients like beans, tomato, onion, clantro and cabbage spread on thin base. Added cheese was amazing quality. Feel and texture excellent. Highly recommended!

🔹Prawns Aglio Olio- Classic continental dish. King prawns flavoured with roasted garlic and prepared in olive oil. Taste was okay.

🔹Paneer chilly- Succulent paneer sauteed with chillies, onion, capsicum and garlic. Just the right hint of spice. Was robust in flavors.

✔Main course

🔹Penne Arabiata pasta- Penne pasta prepared in creamy sauce with exotic ingredients like zucchini n bell pepper. Portion and tastewise good. Pasta was accompanied with garlic bread which was okay in taste.

✔Dessert

🔹Mawa Cheese Cake- Original Indian dessert comprised of vanilla ice cream and cheesy mava cake at the base.

🔹Brownie with ice cream- Choclate brownie topped with vanilla icecream. Served with mini balls of papaya and water melon. Presentation amazing. This dish is the real Winner!
