Lord of the Drinks Andheri — Restaurant in Mumbai

Cited in Aver house, ‘Lord of the drinks’ is a polished but convivial pub covered in customary medieval décor. The atmosphere of the place is all about a comprehensively contemporary dining, radiating composure, a chic vibe and a dim ambience with a comfortable set up in the dining area. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating , the indoor section comprises of a two-storey area with a breathtaking ambience. They have a really good DJ and live music gigs quite often. During our visit,  Mr. Amol Sawant was the artist performing. The place has this aura of positive energy which puts the customer at ease.  It is one of the finest pubs warranting respect.

During heyday time hours it can be crowded but the service is absolutely flawless. The staff is pretty good, they’re very courteous and friendly. Our table was hosted by Mr. Rajesh Malik, who was a fantastic host. The staff and management, with their unblemished service collude together to make the customer feel like a guest.

The bar is elegant, one of the best modern bars that I’ve been to. It is stacked with bottles of top class drinks and cocktail mixes. All your fancy liquor choices will be taken care of. The bar menu is perfectly tailored with a variety of drinks. With so much variety out there, choosing a drink becomes a daunting choice. Talking about the bar delicacies, excellent work done by the bartender. The drinks we ordered were amazing.

“LOTD LIIT” : Top class presentation. It’s a perfect blend of tropical fruit infused with five spirts, passion fruit liqueur and absinthe. Topped with mulled wine and fire orange hole, it is one of the most attractive drinks served here. In terms of alcohol strength, it is moderately strong. “Smoked Sangria” : On the milder side, it’s not too strong. The smoky twist that LOTD has brought in makes it one mean cocktail. Topped with chunks of apple and guava, it has a really good aftertaste. “Margarita” : Definitely on the stronger side, it is one of those drinks which can knock you out. It’s a tequila based cockatail with cointreu and lime served with salted rim and a slice of mandarin peel. It has an amazing taste. “Cucumber sour” : A combination of rum, gin, lime juice, cucumber syrup and topped with egg white and thyme. It is served with a salted rim.

They have a very elaborate food menu with a good variety of dishes from multiple cuisines. The serve dishes from Indian, Continental, Oriental , Arabic and other cuisines. Having this kind of diversity in the menu really makes choosing an item difficult, it’s like an endless array of choices. Our table was festooned with  some of the most lipsmacking appetizers and mains.

For starters we ordered, “Thai herb dim sums - Prawns” : Dumplings with prawn chilli filling served in a cute bamboo box.  The dumplings had an amazing taste, absolutely delectable.  They tasted really good with the peanut honey dip and the other dip with thyme and green chillies. “Sukha mutton and toast” : Its a combination of spicy sukha mutton with fries and toast. The mutton tasted alright. The quantity is quite good, it’s very filling. Also, it’s not very spicy, so if you are looking for something in the moderate spicy range, this is the dish for you.

We ordered a “Classic pepperoni pizza”, it’s a thin crust pizza loaded with the topppings : Spicy pepperoni, onions, olives, chillies, bell peppers, basil and bocconcini. It tasted pretty good.

For main course, we ordered a plate of “Grilled Fish Fillet”. It was a combination of sole fish fillet with buttered greens, roasted bell pepper and sundried tomato and olive tapenade. The grilled fillet was soft and delicious. The veggies and tapenade enhanced the taste more, amazing stuff.

Although the dessert menu doesn’t have a lot of options, LOTD serves some of the prettiest sugarfixes. “Milk cake pie” is the most popular dessert here and it is highly recommended by the staff and other diners. Truly Lord In terms of Drinks.!!

Are you looking for a place that will satisfy thirst of your cocktails, mocktails and other super epic drinks? Then head to this place as it is lord. And as we know lord is above all so the place.

Place is very very huge with some class interiors and amazing ambiance. Outdoor seating is also available. Ground floor with the parallel bar counter and very comfortable seating arrangement. Space around the tables and in front of bar counter will definitely make you groove with comfort on the amazing music that is played at this place. Music here is pumping and thumping and willl definitely make you dance. On the first floor they have center round bar counter and amazing seating. I was stunned by the classy interiors.

When talking about service and staff, I must say that staff was superb, courteous, polite and well trained. We were served by Mr. Jojo and definitely he helped us lot to decide on starters, main course according to our taste choice. Service is super speedy and will definitely make you enjoy your drinks to the fullest.

Coming to the drinks first, later will describe the food as this place is named after drinks. And I am really impressed with their drinks. It was treat to my eyes to watch all those amazing drinks.

If you love cocktails:

Melon twist : this one was with Vodka base, little bit of cinnamon and lot of watermelon juice and soda. It was served in a horn like glass and while serving this a lot of smoke was poured into it which was just mesmerizing and caught all my attention.

Apple foamintini: another one with vodka base. This one was having green apple liquor, flower syrup and was topped with blue foam which was looking so mesmerizing. It was served in an amazing shaped glass with the base filled of dry ice which was continously giving out smoke and making this drink a visual paradise.

If you can groove without alcohol:

Sundowner : this one is standard cooler with the pineapple juice as base and mixed with some lemons fresh basil leaves and it gives a refreshing taste.

Green Lust: don't judge this one with its name coz the color of drink was bit more on a red side. This was basically a cranberry juice mixed with honey, mint leaves and was garnished with their special banana foam. Which was enhancing the looks and taste of the drink.

Coming to another important part why you must visit this place 'Food'. Dude I loved the food here specially because the staff will definitely help you out and get you what exactly you are looking for. Thanks to Mr. JOJO for serving us most delicious dishes that day. We could try their few dishes and Desserts and all of then were upto the mark both in terms of taste and portion.

Mughlai paneer roll: this was marinated paneer along with some veggies rolled in a mughlai bread. It was served with a mint coriander dip which was so smooth and i believe was in a yogurt base the texture of dip was so smooth and it was the best dip of that night.

Crispy cottage cheese spring rolls: wow this one was one of the best that I had till now. Most amazing thing about this was it was deep fried but still I couldn't find any trace of oil and it was seriously very very yumm. This I will recommend to everybody.

Schezwan chilly paneer : this was regular paneer appetizer and the taste was upto the mark.

Thai green curry Bento Box : this is a must try and will definitely satisfy your taste buds if you love thai food. It is basically a platter that is served in a box and it looks very amazing and tastes even better than that. It consisted fried noodles, schezwan sauce, fried rice and black bean sauce tossed vegetable gravy ( I just replaced thai curry with this one as per my mood that day) and 2 pieces of spring rolls. It was par my expectations and made me super happy.

Nutty Brownie : to finish of with we ordered one of the most loved dessert Brownie. It was decorated with chocolate sauce, some almonds and marshmallows and it tasted heavenly.

We've Recently visited Lord of the the Drinks, Andheri which is known for their top class services, beautiful ambiance , delicious food and most important for their drinks.

Lord of the drinks as the name says it has one of the best Drinks (Cocktail or Mocktail) in town. This place is situated at Andheri west, Lokhandwala and easily reachable from D.N. Nagar metro station by Car, auto or bus.

Ambiance of this place is huge and specious. LOTD is restro bar which is prefectly decorated with lots of dim lights, long bar counter and attractive furnitures. In another word ambiance of the place so attractive, Beautiful and eye catchy.

When you entered into the restaurant you can see a longest bar counter, on which bartenders are preparing some unique cocktails or mocktais their guest and They have wide display of alcohols with unique type of cutlery.

Seating arrangement of this place is very well organised and managed in respect of couple, friends and families. They have beautiful and attractive combination of wooden table , decorative and comfortable chairs and sofas for seat. Also have outdoor seating arrangement which is perfect for date. Best place in town to celebration. This place is paradise for drink lovers and perfect place for get together.

LOTD staff are very professional and services given by them are fast. They have good knowledge of food and aware of available stock. Staff are very attentive and helpful with suggestion. Thanks to Mr. RAM for their wonderful service and suggestions.

Now coming to the food.. We've tried many dishes here. The quantity and quality of food was good. They serves hers many cuisine like continental, European, Italian, Chinese, North Indian and Fingerfood. Presentation of food and drinks were superb and taste of food was so delicious.

We've Tried here: 🔹Mocktail : ▪️Pacific Blue : (Highly Recommend) This drinks was very refreshing. Love the color as well as it's taste. One of best mocktail I ever had.

▪️Gauva Delight : (Recommend) It was mixture of gauva nector, pineapple juice, lemon and Indian spices. Drinks was little bit spicy. But personally liked this drink very much.

🔹Cocktail ▪️ LOTD LIIT : (Recommend) For LIIT lovers, LOTD LIIT one of best LIIT drink which is must try Drink in LOTD. Came in curved type of cone glass . Presentation of this drink was superb.

▪️ Apple Fomantini: (Highly Recommended) This was one of best vodka based cocktail In town. Taste was drinks was superb. Well presented and perfectly made.

🔹Staters ▪️Bhot Jolkia Chicken Poppers (Recommend) This was very delicious poppres which was crunchy outside and tenderd inside served on fried flat noodles and a spicy canjun dip.

▪️Chicken 65 Fries : This was crispy chicken fries mixed with hot 65 sause and seved with myonnies.

▪️ Arabic Chicken Skewers: (.Recommend) It was a platter of the Arabic spied chicken with pita bread , hummus and salad must try dish.

▪️ Southern Fried Prawns: (Highly Recommend) This was must try dishe which you gonna defiantly like it. Tiger prawns marinated with masala and Fried. So crispy and yummy!!

🔹Main Course ▪️ Hindi Chinese Bento Box : (Recommend) Thai style chicken skewers, chilli garlic gravy, burnt garlic noodles , kimchi , fried noodles and shezwan chutuny served in the black box. Taste of food was delicious.

🔹Dessert ▪️Milk Cake Pie: Milk pie was the small baked cake with milk pudding inside and Burt marshmallow on side. Taste of this dish too sweet. Personally I liked it very much.
