We have been Ramashray (Matunga) fans since childhood and were very excited when they opened an outlet nearer to us.
I must admited that during the initial months they had some teething issues which had me worried if they will be able to cater to the standards set by the Matunga outlet.
However, after multiple visits and having tired a lot of their south indian items and even the fusion like pav-bhaji dosas to pav bhaji to gulab jamun, I am happy that they have proved my initial fears false and are serving to their standards and even better at some places (AC, fusion food, non-south Indian food, etc).
Overall it's the good old brand with much needed modernization. They have good outdoor seating and few seats on the ground level (non-ac) as well for seniors who may not be able to climb to level 1 (something to keep in mind if you are with seniors or someone who cannot climb).

Read moreif you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a satisfying meal in a peaceful atmosphere, the Parel outlet of Ramashraya is definitely worth a visit. this restaurant offers great-tasting filter coffee and Indian cuisine that will satisfy your cravings. Its very surprising to see them serving chole bhature and the chole was so creamy and full of flavours. This simple neer dosa is my comfort food and personal favourite. Have you ever tried pav bhaji dosa? Cause this is something you should definitely try. This is called bisi bele bhat and it was so wholesome. Dahi wada or pineapple sheera.. which one is your favourite? Well it was very hard to choose as both the dishes have different fanbase... Overall, Its a value for money cafe. Highly recommend this place as a must visit with family...
