A modest cafe and pizzeria on one of the most popular roads of Bandra. The place is not easily visible from the road, you'll have to look for it if going for the first time. Once you enter the place is cosy, small and sweet. It has both the AC and non AC section. AC sections have few tables, the Non AC section is unlighted.
Coming to their popular element - The 🍕! Their pizzas need a special mention as they are delicious to the core. They have also won awards for it. It's a Pizza lover's paradise. Perfect pizzas with different crust options. We usually go for semi-thick so we don't miss out on the feel of pizza and also don't have the chewy feel of the thick base.
Our order: Half n Half Pizza - One half - Chicken Pizza Texas Style: Soft and cheesy with appropriate toppings of Chicken added on tangy sauce. Yummy! Second half - Smoked bacon and Onion Original cheese pizza with regular sause, topped with Smoked bacon and Onion. Scrumptious!
Garlic Bread with Cheese: Classic, soft and cheesy. Just perfect!
Verri Berri Splash & Pink Lemonade: Both were good and went well with our orders.
Gooey Chocolate Cake: So soft it melts when you spoon it...
Read moreHad an amazing dinner at Ray’s! We had heard great reviews of the pizzas at this place so directly went in and ordered for as many pizzas as we could. We ended up ordering for 4 pizzas, garlic bread with cheese, a burger and a few drinks. We called for the below pizzas - Ray’s ultimate veggie frontier Fire and smoke Tandoori paneer Tex Mex veggie We called for the thin and the medium bases and really loved the thin base! It is a must go with here, if you like your pizzas with thin bases. For us, Fire & Smoke was the hands down winner of the 4 we ordered. We enjoyed all of them, no doubt! Garlic bread with cheese - It was also nice. Nothing great but then nothing to complaint either. Burger - I felt the burger could have been a bit bigger in quantity. Everywhere else I’ve had a burger and I’m mostly full but here I had 1 whole 9 inch pizza even after having the burger. The Taste was good, but I’ve had better burgers. Passion fruit zing - loved the drink. Really nice.
All in all, it’s a great place to have pizzas! It is a must go and not to be missed! Plus they even have amazing...
Read moreThe pizza here—well, it does the job, I suppose. It’s a crowd-pleaser, sure, but if you’re looking for anything remotely profound, you might want to look elsewhere. The toppings felt less like a carefully considered addition and more like a rushed afterthought, slapped on without any real cohesion. Now, the place itself? Quite charming. Cozy, in a way that makes you want to settle in, but the pizza doesn’t quite match the vibe.
The chorizo pizza was particularly disappointing. Dry doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ve had chorizo in several countries, and let me tell you, this was the driest I’ve ever encountered. The Hawaiian pizza? Let’s just say the pineapple was a tad too much for me, but that’s probably my personal distaste for the combination at play here, so I’ll refrain from being too harsh.
In the end, it’s a fine spot for a laid-back pizza night—nothing fancy, just the basics. But if you’re seeking a pizza that truly makes an impression, well, you may want to...
