Sindhudurg Family Dining — Restaurant in Mumbai

I recently visited Sindhudurg Family Dining, a Malvani food restaurant with a group of friends on Holi and had a fantastic experience dining in there! The restaurant had a lively and festive atmosphere, with colorful decorations and music that added to the holiday spirit. We were fully covered in Holi colors yet the staff welcomed us and let us use their powder room for cleaning purpose.

The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the seafood, Mutton and chicken dishes along with Tandalachi bhakri. The chicken curry was outstanding, with a perfect blend of spices that gave it a bold and flavorful taste. Butter garlic prawns were also delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning.

The chicken and mutton dishes were equally impressive. The chicken curry had a rich and creamy sauce that was perfectly balanced with the spices, while chicken lollipop had a smoky flavor that added depth to the dish.

The sides were also noteworthy, with the vegetable dishes providing a fresh and tasty contrast to the rich flavors of the seafood, mutton and chicken. The rice flour bhakri (Tandalachi bhakri) was also excellent, with a fluffy texture and a perfect amount of char of the tandoor. To end the course with we had ordered Solkadhi which is considered as the jewel of Konkan.

The service was friendly and attentive, with the staff ensuring that our experience was top-notch from start to finish. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall experience.

After long time had a chance to visit Mulund for work related activities and was craving for authentic Seafood, found Sindhudurg and decided to visit the restaurant, although a small restaurant in terms of seating capacity but ambience wise a good setup and they tried to give privacy also. Let’s talk about service, good staff is well trained and polite and ready to help. Food is also good not seen such a big slice of surmai anywhere, and rate are reasonable. Kombadi wade gravy and everything add up to a great food for seafood lover. Solkadi was superb it reminded me of one that I had in dive agar home stay freshly made. What to say more about the Aamras it was superb and delicious and could recommend to visit the place. They do have branch and hopefully they will also not disappoint you in serving the authentic and delicious food. They do have many other great food but I need to try all other options like mutton and chicken and Pomfret Bombil...

Very slow service, Staff is not respecting the customers and behaving like he is the owner of the hotel and after a long wait Food doesn’t even taste good, ordered a Chikan Kolhapuri bonless, with naan Kolhapuri was not at all i can only see the Coriander (Konthimbir) in that. Price are so high with such a little quantity and with no taste. And also unable to chew the naan I can feel only maida and nothing also in TANDUL BHAKRI FOUND HAIR i showed it to staff and they didnt even budge or apologise. The staff behaviour is so pathetic i recommend not to go there instead eat road side vadapav.
