Atithi All Day Dining Bar & Banquet — Restaurant in Mumbai

The Legendary Atithi restaurant in Mulund, has been here since decades. Located bang opposite the Mulund railways station. This restaurant has been a huge hit among Mulund peeps. You can find out the best food over here. A big makeover has been done recently of this restaurant, it does mean that this restaurant accepts change. And trust me their change is worth watching. I visited this place for dinner, i could easily locate it. It has lower and upper seatings. The Ambience is very much funky, is full of colours. When we went here there was this Live night,enjoyed it. We preferred sitting upstairs. Mr.Swamy, the manager and probably the most famous guy over here, will suggest you the best of this place. So what he suggested us and what we ordered here was-

Appetisers- Cheese Mint Paneer- Mint flavoured Green Paneer Chuncks topped with cheese all over it. This was fantastic, loved the quantity. Paneer was soft and tasty.

Crispy Potato Shanghai- Try out this one instead of regular Paneer chilly, this crunchy potato shanghai starter was just the best thing to start our dinner with. It’s a bit spicy though, i totally enjoyed it.

Mocktails- Orange Boom- Orange flavoured soda topped with vanilla ice Cream, the combo was great to sip with our meal.

Strawberry Delight- Another milk based mocktail, which has strawberry flavoured. Some improvements are needed in this one though.

Mains- Laziz Sabzi- Indeed this dish was Laziz, chopped veggies with some paneer pieces in it. Definitely a must have to try on with Butter Kulcha. Their Butter Kulcha too was superb.

Fried Rice- Undoubtedly, this fried rice was one of the best i had lately. Perfectly cooked rice, with few veggies in it. Goes well with any gravy.

Dessert- Gulab Jamun- Warm Gulab Jamun with sweet Chaasni. Gulab Jamun were too soft and extremely satisfying. Another must try over here.

Atithi Restaurant has kept their legacy intact, their food is just phenomenal. Staff and Mr.Swamy are managing it very well. Ambience is crowd Pulling. This restaurant is must try if you’re in Mulund and looking for some family...

The hype built up around Hotel Atithi for gone 8 years was so much that it was always on my "Must Go and Taste" list. After a long blink n miss chances I went on 20/10/18 for my Mother's birthday treat with my whole family of 4.

Ambience is good. The furniture and the interiors where eye catching ,all were worth about the talks falling into my ears for these many years. It was jam-packed and a birthday party was going on.

We were seated on a floor above and it was thankfully not bustling but spacious and empty with hardly 4 folks around. Seating was a bit odd,but that's duly because of my big size can't blame hotel authority.

Ordered drinks and food respectively listed below Tuborg and Kingfisher - Chilled and Good,a bit botch up occured as the server tilted too much and half of Tuborg went waste and they didn't show courtesy to replace it ,after a insist they served less chilled one.

Starters - Chicken Peri Peri Tikka,Shahi Paneer Tikka Tasted fantastic but the size was small for the cost they listed.

Main course - Chicken Malwani and Butter Rotis, taste was fabulous but too much of Mustard seeds in the gravy and for god sake why did they shred the chicken and mixed in it only the chef knows. Also ordered Atithi Special Mutton Biriyani ,the utterly rubbish Biriyani of my whole life it was. A Biriyani is known because of two things essence and the meat quality. Both were just out of place here. No masala,to much ghee,meat was rubbery and pale pinkish in texture.

Lime juice was good,thank god.

After talking to some friends over this they still suggest me to try Fish fries and other kebabs and said the hotel is good,I think it was bad luck that the Biriyani served was not so upto the mark that day.

One of the beautiful and oldest restaurants in Mulund is none other but Atithi, the ambience is so beautiful right from the day they’ve started years back. For me it was a 5star hotel for me during my childhood some 15 years back. Now, they’ve renovated the restaurants and made it more classy then ever before. People can also host parties, and events here at the terrace they have! There is always something going on at the terrace , getting a booking for events here is hence difficult, book it very early if u need to host a function here. Now talking about the food here, its absolutely fantastic and superb. Non veg dishes are way too awesome Chicken Tikka Tandoori Chicken Chicken soup Chinese Chicken dishes Butter chicken Rotis Naan and Kulchas Chicken Biryani Daal Tadka rice All of it was simply outstanding :) People who know this restaurant and who live in Mulund know it very well. Atithi is just too good and for me it always will be Men can also have drinks and its a nice restaurant and a good go with family :)
