The Greedy Man Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mumbai

This pizza place serves authentic thin crust pizza. I really loved their mushroom and three cheese chicken pizza, it was divine. Everything was really amazing. However, their menu is going to be polarizing and you are going to see this in their reviews like on Zomato. Here are some of the reasons for this: First off they need to make sure that pizzas are delivered in shape. Maybe use those plastic shape keepers. The pizzas are thin and a few folks are getting deformed pizzas. Secondly, they have only maybe two chicken pizzas in the non-vegetarian section. That is not a deal breaker for me, as I am perfectly happy with pork based pizzas too, but for many the lack of variety will be an issue. Finally, the pizza is authentic. The taste of the cheese, the tomato sauce and even the meat toppings is going to be subtle, perhaps too subtle for the Indian palate. I saw such complaints on Zomato calling the pizza bland. That's not my opinion, I love pizza in all its forms be it authentic Italian or a butter paneer pizza catered for Indian palates. But that doesn't work for a business. Abysmal service. Ordered for delivery through Thrive, the order got registered & didn't show up for the first hour. When the restaurant was called they refused to acknowledge the order and informed me that the order was placed at the Pune location; even when the bill was shared with their team via Whatsapp. The Thrive driver was calling me (as the customer) to push the restaurant to give my order. Turns out the restaurant only registered the order once I had called & the driver reached there. While I am not one to leave negative reviews, the service offered during this process (technical glitch or not) was terrible. The restaurant stopped answering my calls and hanging up the phone. After badgering them with 20+ calls, I finally got a reply via message saying the delivery as being prepared. One of the WORST pizza of Mumbai city . Firstly the pizza was stone cold . One opening the box the pizza looked stale as if it was from a cold storage which was reheated & sent , Definitely NOT freshly made . The base was utterly SOGGY & literally unedible . Can u believe there was barely 1/2 tablespoon tomato sauce in the entire pizza ! Less than 1/2 tablespoon cheese ! I had to hunt for the sundried tomato toppings but couldn't find any ! The biggest blunder - Every slice had 3 huge pieces of jalapeno ! Who ever will eat this dreaded pizza will surely fall sick by default . Highly overpriced . Definitely NOT recommended...
