The Terrace - A Maiden Affair (Andheri) — Restaurant in Mumbai

♡ THE TERRACE - A MAIDEN AFFAIR ♡ Today we were at this spacious resto-bar at Andheri - Lokhandwala for dinner serving Continental, Italian and Chinese. LOCATION - This restaurant is at a 5 minutes walking distance from Star Mall and is situated on the 6th floor. AMBIENCE- The Ambiance has a beautiful starry decor with fairy lights including a stunning Bar section in the middle of this spacious restaurant. Has attractive neon signs and fairy tale vibes, Millenial pink walls with gleaming copper accents give it a feminine yet contemporary vibe, looks even more beautiful in evening. Has a cozy look, dim lights all over, Live music, comfortable seating and pleasant environment.

STAFF & SERVICE- The service staff is kind, courteous and helped us ordering the best dishes of the restaurant. They were attentive as well.They also made sure for our perfect dining experience. Even the manager is super kind and the bartenders are so talented in curating the best cocktails in town.

FOOD- No doubt the food is remarkable in taste, quality as well as quantity. Every dish has a distinct flavour, taste and texture and is served hot. We tried the following dishes mentioned below.

OUR ORDERS-

BEVERAGES- 1)  DELUSIONS DELUSIONS - A vodka based cocktail prepared of elderflower, aquafoba, sweet and sour mix, blue pea tea and ginger ale. All together having a purple colour fizz, bittersweet and refreshing taste. Accompanied well with the starters that we ordered. 2) MY NEIGHBOURS BOYFRIEND - White rum, Banana puree, pineapple juice, homemade spice dark rum and citrus mix. This cocktail is beautifully prepared and has a cinnamon flavour.

STARTERS- 3) CHICKEN TIKKA POPCORN  - Presented innovatively in a Martini Glass, these chicken Tikka popcorns were placed on salad at the bottom of the glass served with cheese sauce. The popcorns are super tasty, the mini chicken chunks are fried to perfection. Totally loved it. Highly Recommended starter. 4) PAV BHAJI TOASTADAS - Spicy and flavourful Pav Bhaji placed on Toast topped with onion tomato salad and a lemon wedge. Has a real delicious taste all together.

MAIN COURSE- 5) COTTAGE CHEESE ROULADE WITH THREE PEPPER CHEESY SAUCE - Paneer Roulade topped with broccoli placed on a bed of potato cake surrounded with three pepper cheesy sauce. Its a mild sweet and bland taste MainCourse, cheese sauce being the main taste element of the dish. 6) WOK TOSSED NOODLES IN KUNG PAO SAUCE - DESSERT - Noodles tossed to perfection and kung pao sauce prepared in exotic veggies, had a super delightful flavour prepared in perfect amount of spices. NUTELLA COLD CHEESECAKE - Extremely Sinful dessert! Loved it. Super smooth cheesecake topped with nutella, having a melt in mouth texture. Perfect dessert to end the meal with!

In all it was a wonderful experience. I would suggest one to visit here at least once for their amazing service. Its a place worth visiting with friends and loved once!  Its a place Having spacious space to roam, dance around, they have live music sessions, karaoke nights and so much more. Their Bar area is amazing.They followed all the safety protocols wherever required. Would definitely recommend this place for atleast one time visit especially Andherikars!

The Terrace is surely one of the most sought after places in the vicinity as proved by the bustling crowd we found on visiting for a midweek dinner. It's a great representation of a modern diner which excels in ambiance and all their culinary offerings with top notch service.

The place is a visual feast, with an array of dazzling sections, softer colour tones and impeccable lighting. The bar right in the middle of the floor is stunning and looks really fancy. DJ and a projector on opposite sides makes choosing your side all the more fun surrounded by hanging artificial flora. The open terrace section holds more than a few tables having a compelling view with breathable space making it an ideal rooftop place.

The menus source a variety of cuisines and they do have a good combination of small and large plates as well as sides. The drinks menu is vast, particularly when it comes to their house cocktails and whiskey specials. We had :

Delusions Delusions : Elegant and lipsmacking at once, the cocktail had one of the best sweet sour mixes combined with vodka along with elderflower flavours hitting the roof. Comes with some theatre too. Try it !

Cinema : A caramel disc sitting pretty on top of popcorn infused whiskey blended with chocolate bitters leaving you with a lingering sweet and bitter taste in every small sip. Just the kind of drink I like and I suggest you try it too ! 👌🏽

Chilli Garlic Chicken Tikka : Super tender chargrilled chicken, almost felt like cotton tearing off the fork. Spice from the chilli hits here and there and goes well with the garlicky aftertaste and mint chutney. Overall a superb spin on the traditional tikka.

Grilled BBQ Chicken Flatbread : Probably my favourite dish of the night, it was thin, crispy and incredibly delicious. BBQ sauce was sweeter than usual which surprisingly elevated the taste for me. Must try ! 💯

Peri Peri Roasted Chicken Steak : One look at this dish and you stay spellbound. The glaze glistens just like the peri peri flavours go wonderfully with smooth potato mash and exotic veggies. Really wholesome !

Chicken Nasi Goreng : An array of elements presented in a beautiful plate, the rice was everything you want it to be like. Satay skewers and a runny half fried egg on top of subtly flavoured fride rice combined with prawn crackers for that added crunch.

Nutella Cheesecake : Can call it a mix between cheesecake and mousse due to it being so smooth and rich. Loved the presentation and every spoonful was a delight.

The servers are quick with recommendations and any specific requests that you have. The dining space is super comfortable apt for large groups or get togethers but the settings also make up for a cozy date by the bar. Bartenders are natty with their skills and the pop jukebox keeps you tapping your feet. The portions are really appropriate and the dishes do give you a premium feel. Price point is exactly what it should be and you are sure to have a good time for what you pay. Not to forget, the place is insanely gram worthy.

In conclusion, I would say Terrace - A Maiden Affair scores top points in almost every category you look for in an upscale eatery. Definitely visiting again for the vibe, food and drinks and will surely...

TERRACE- MAIDEN AFFAIR ANDHERI!

This place will really impress you by how they have utilized the entire big space & converted into a stunning indoor as well as outdoor ambience. Various sections have designed so beautifully with keeping comfort in mind. They provide you full bar sections even it was very big in size which consist of multiple branded drinks. I found this is one of those perfect place where we should be for date. Vibe here is very luxurious & soothing. Now they don’t have a physical menu card so you need to scan or take menu on your whatsapp. I ordered the following dishes here.

DRINKS WIDE AWAKE (MOCKTAIL) (5/5) This is was so refreshing drink with perfect flavors of coffee & coke with some mint. According to taste this was really good for chilled drink.

ISN’T IT HOT (COCKTAIL) (5/5) I really like the presentation of this drink, they make it like look like monster. It’s gin based yellow cocktail drink decorated with red chilis. It was very much strong in taste. This is recommended.

APPETIZERS PANEER CHAPATI TACOS (3/5) It was too much salty in taste so finishing it alone is big task. It was simply paneer burjhi stuffed in mini chapati’s & topped with mayonnaise sauce. taste wise it’s ok, restaurant should limit the salt or else it was good.

CHEESE CORN CROQQUETS (5/5) This was crisp & soft cheese fritters served with mayonnaise. It was lipsmacking in taste, So you can enjoy this for sure.

MAIN COURSE WOK TOSSED RICE IN DRUNKEN BURNT CHILLI SAUCE (5/5) Tossed fried rice with veg chilly gravy consist of chopped vegetables. Specialty is they add OLD MONK drink by making it burn on gravy & rice. Presentation was superb & because of flame it looks amazing. While having it taste taste little bit mild & you can easily taste the flavor of old monk till last bite. I found it doesn’t affect the overall taste of dish but gives a party vibe. Do try this!

BROCOLI & BURNT GARLIC RISOTTO (5/5) Even if you don’t like the broccoli then still you should order this because with yummy cheese & slightly flavor or broccoli it taste very good. I really love this till last bite. It was so yummy & perfect main course. I’ll suggest instead of having pasta you must order this as main course. It was worth.

DESSERT CHEESE CAKE (STRAWBERY) (5/5) It was perfect finisher for us, cheese cake was super soft & creamy. It was amazingly mixed with strawberry flavor. I completely loved it. Must go for it

Now this has become one of my personal favorite place to be where. If you wanna have a amazing party then you must visit here, they have limited options in their menu card but taste wise it was really worth. Plus it’s not a family place so be here with your gang or corporate buddies, they will treat you amazingly. Staff members were so polite & friendly in nature. Only I wanted to suggest a outlet is add some north indian dishes in your menu card so it will give more choice for normal dishes lover. My experience here was very memorable. Must visit this place.
