Nagpur’s evenings have become quite pleasant lately, which led me to visit Co.So on Mount Road. I visited this restaurant in 30th August to be precise. This restaurant is truly unique; I haven’t encountered anything similar in the city before. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the ambiance is aesthetically captivating. The atmosphere exudes modernity, elegance, and a certain charm that makes it stand out. The food also lived up to my expectations. I ordered a cottage cheese bao and Tiramisu. The bao had a soft, pillowy texture with a generous, crispy, and flavorful cottage cheese filling. The Tiramisu, although a decent portion, leaned more towards a sweeter profile compared to its traditional counterpart.
However, my experience soured when it came to their after-service policies. After finishing my meal, I requested the bill, which included a service charge. Surprised, I wasn’t aware that restaurants in a smaller city like Nagpur had started adopting this practice, reminiscent of what you’d find in Mumbai. I politely asked my server, Mr. Tushar (who was prompt and friendly), to remove the service charge, as it is legally discretionary. I informed him I would tip him directly instead. He complied with my request but then informed me that I couldn’t proceed with payment through Zomato Gold. Despite my attempts to explain my point, the issue remained unresolved, leaving me disheartened after an otherwise enjoyable meal.
To add to the frustration, I wasn’t able to retain my receipt, as Mr. Tushar took it to jot down my contact details (due to the service charge removal). Later, when I attempted to file a complaint with Zomato, they requested a picture of the bill to contact the restaurant and resolve the issue. After two or three follow-ups with the reservation lady, enduring her unprofessionalism (she even laughed during our conversation on call), I finally received an apology along with a photo of the bill. Yet, the entire experience left me quite frustrated. Despite the good food, I cannot recommend this place. I would rate it 2.5/5.
Update: I had written this review a year ago and even emailed the founder team. They asked for my contact details but went silent when I questioned why they hadn’t followed up if they were genuinely sorry. It became clear that their apology was just a gimmick. Since they already have my phone number, they could easily use it to restrict my entry (which, to be fair, is within their legal right as “admission reserved”).
The main reason for this update is to highlight the contradictory behavior: on one hand, they ignore my concerns, and on the other, they continue tracking my review journey on google maps. I have attached a screenshot for reference and may share emails...

Read more✨ After hearing from so many people around me, finally visited this place and must say I believe it's totally worth the hype so far 🎏 Let me tell you why -
🍜 Food - had chilly paneer, udon noodles (by far my fav) and hakka noodles - everything was yumm. They have lot of options, however, we stuck to Asian for now.
🍷 Drinks - tried their pepino picante (owners recommendation, worth it), Pink Lemonade (for non drinkers) and Expresso (a little disappointed here, beans were stale)
🦩 Vibe - best part about the place is it's ambience, the crowd and definitely their cool interiors. If not for anything, should visit once for that
🍴 Service - servers very helpful. Always looking out for you. Though they can still not make any recommendations yet, not their faults, new place still learning.
🪅Overall - truly enjoyed my visit. Definitely, will visit again for their cocktails and vast food options.
p.s. getting a table inside could be a little challenging. Better be ready to wait for good 30 mins or if you can...
