A magical evening by the poolside —————————————————————— We were group of four friends who came to Nagpur for a photography shoot (in end of March). And we were staying at Centre point hotel. In the evening when we stepped out for dinner, we went to this rooftop restaurant Highsteaks by the poolside. Now the review is as follows: Ambience: 10/10 This place is beautiful. The poolside is lovely. There is a jumbo fan which looks great and then they also have this water sprinklers to cool the place down. (Considering it was march it was hot weather). We took a table close to the bar counter. But after dinner we realised we could have taken table closer to the pool. (It would have been cooler)

Food: 8/10 Most of the food items we ordered were tasty and great. We ordered vegetarian food. To Skip: One of the Munchies that we ordered (Wasabi Chana Jor) can be skipped. Also the Asian Vegetables Sizzler was also a letdown. But I am not a big fan of Sizzlers anyways. My friends who like Sizzlers also didn’t like it so much. Must Have: Pan kissed Momos (we repeated this order) Burnt Parda Paneer Barbecue Cottage Cheese

Service: 10/10 Staff is pretty good. To the point. We didn’t have to wait too long for staff to take order. This restaurant has AirMenu, so you can check the menu on the phone itself. Only our sizzler took too long to come, (But I think that’s usual for sizzler)

Drinks: 7/10 One of the friend had a mocktail which was Berry Berrier Berriest, I would skip it. I tasted it and it was too sweet for me ( but then I’m off sugar)

Price: $$$$ Since we visited from Mumbai, the cost is something similar to Mumbai cafes. Or I would say it’s like Bandra places, but the ambience is worth it.

My recent experience at High Steaks booked via Swiggy was nothing short of a complete disappointment. After eagerly looking forward to a nice evening out, my family and I were met with utter disrespect and disregard for our booking. Despite pre-paying a booking fee, we were forced to endure an excruciating hour-long wait, standing outside.

Upon finally approaching the manager, instead of receiving an apology or any form of acknowledgment for our inconvenience, we were met with condescension and contempt. The manager's demeanor was shockingly unprofessional, displaying a blatant lack of empathy or basic customer service skills. Their arrogant attitude and snide remarks about the restaurant's supposed 'classiness' only added insult to injury.

To add insult to injury, when we mentioned our confirmed booking, the manager callously dismissed it, claiming that all bookings had been canceled without any prior notification. This not only left us feeling disrespected but also completely ruined what was meant to be a special evening.

The sheer audacity of High Steaks to treat paying customers in such a manner is utterly reprehensible. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as their appalling lack of professionalism and disregard for customers' time and money is truly disheartening.
