Taste 😋: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Undoubtedly, their Poha tastes excellent, so much so that customers pack large quantities to take-out. It is spicy, and you can ask them to pour less tarri (curry).

Quantity: ⭐⭐⭐ For ₹25 a plate, the quantity feels much less. But considering the taste, the quantity feels apt.

Ambience: ⭐⭐ Their counter is a small room with a bulb and no fans, in the parking of a building. There are cans of drinking water, and a bucket to keep used plates.

The place is filled with customers. Getting at the front of the line is a hurdle, and getting out with a plate of Poha in your hand, cutting through the reckless customers is another challenge. I had a struggle to even click a picture of their counter.

Service 🛎️: ⭐⭐⭐ They are as quick as they can, and politely handle the flood of customers.

Parking 🚗: ⭐⭐ As I approached the place, I could see a long line of cars parked roadside, with people comfortably sitting inside with a plate in their hand.

Suggestions 📝: They accept only cash. Mobile payment methods (like PayTM, or UPI) would be appreciated.

A legacy breakfast joint of Nagpur. Has been here in Deo Nagar since more than a decade. Keshav used to serve aloobonda previously, years ago. However, apparently that was phased out facing heat from Rajesh Farsan opposite to it. He has been selling poha ever since. The curry used to have batana in it which has been replaced with chana since the past one or two years. The taste is the best. Hands down. You go to the counter, get the tarri and poha, shower it with sev and have it standing there nearby the stall. His food gets sold out by 7am on most of the days. Poha rates are VFM, ₹30 for a full plate, ₹20 for a half plate. Now, here's a tip for newcomers, it will take you 2-3 visits to develop a taste for this chana poha. A must try! He is open for fixed time. Opens at around 6 - 6.15am and poha lasts upto 6.45 to 7 am. So keep the timing in mind before visiting. Reach here at 6 - 6.15 to avoid missing poha. Coming to poha, it's very good, poha itself has good taste unlike Ramji shyamji or other famous poha places, tarri is not too spicy, it's not a saoji poha. But taste is good and owner has maintained the taste over the years. So people who don't like spicy (saoji) tarri can try tarri poha here.
