I recently tried the Samosa Ragda, Bread Butter, Special Chai, and Kesar Pista Falooda — unfortunately, none of the dishes met expectations. • Samosa Ragda: The dish was overloaded with approximately 250g of vatana, making it hard to even find the samosa. The balance of flavors was completely off, and it didn’t feel appetizing at all. • Bread Butter: Right from the first bite, it was evident that the butter used was of poor or adulterated quality. • Special Chai: This was a major letdown — overly sweet and watery, with no richness or flavor. Despite being labeled “special,” it lacked the depth of a good milk tea. • Kesar Pista Falooda: This was the most disappointing. The overwhelming use of artificial color and an odd taste made it unpleasant and difficult to consume.

Read moreThis is a place close to Bhagat Tarachand off Plam Beach Road Sanpada, Navi Mumbai. As the name says this not a full blown restaurant, but instead is a snack beverage shop. The menu is neat and has lot of options from sandwich to pizza to pav bhaji to paani puri to samosa to vada pavs, you name a snack and they will probably have it. The ambiance is nothing to write about. This is a non ac snack center which has i think 9-10 tables and the space is cramped as well. The good part is that the staff is courteous and the snack center is clean at most time. Food quality is good. However have not heard of home delivery option at this place so if you want to eat here then you will have to get yourself inside Chhaya Sagar. All in all i would recommend this place if you are looking to grab...
Read moreA place which is inundated with the regulars n the newbies trying out the place. Had heard a lot about this place. Honestly found it grossly over-rated. Cleanliness is a parameter which they won easily. Their samosa was said to be great which I found it to be average. Set dosa was also okay. The chutneys were average only good thing was the Sambhar was almost like a true blue Southie version of Sambhar unlike the sweetened versions u get in most of the udipis. Service was quick. I was recommended special tea which was a let down again. Mysore sada dosa was also average. However cleanliness is a sure shot wow factor n the regular people haunt this place for their daily cuppa or...
