Naturals Ice Cream — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

I recently visited Natural Ice Cream, Vashi, and as always, the experience was delightful! I tried Tender Coconut, Mango, and Anjeer, and each flavor was a treat in its own way.

Tender Coconut: Incredibly creamy with a light, natural sweetness. The tiny coconut bits add a great texture, making it refreshing and not overly heavy. Perfect for coconut lovers!

Mango: This flavor never disappoints, especially in mango season. Made with real Alphonso mangoes, it’s rich, smooth, and bursting with fresh fruitiness. Definitely a must-try!

Anjeer: A unique, underrated flavor! The natural sweetness of figs blends perfectly with the creamy base, and the tiny fig seeds add a pleasant crunch. A great choice for those who enjoy dry fruit flavors.

I have been having Natural's ice creams for past 20yrs or more. After moving to Singapore, I would even carry their large tubs in flight with me from Bombay, packed in thermocol boxes. I have been that big a fan of their products.

But of late, the quality of the ice cream has fallen beyond imagination. Their trademark used to be rich, creamy natural ice cream, mixed with natural fruit extracts.

I recently had their custard apple (sitaphal) and tender coconut ice creams. In both, the taste/flavor of the fruits could not even be distinguished. Thus, I could not even recognise the custard apple ice cream to be so. (I remember the earlier years, when it was so good, and easily identifiable). On top of that, the base was not even rich and creamy and well rounded, like it used to be.

On the whole, a very disappointing experience from a brand which so many people had their hopes pinned, as being one of the best...
