I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! The flavors and presentation of the dishes were top-notch, and it was a delightful culinary experience. However, I had some concerns about the waiter services, which could use some improvement.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of mouthwatering dishes, and the chef's talent was evident in each plate served. My taste buds were dancing with joy, and I couldn't help but appreciate the chef's expertise. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Now, The waiter services were not up to par with the outstanding food. While the staff was friendly, there seemed to be a lack of attentiveness and efficiency. It took quite a while for our orders to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive at our table. Additionally, some of the waiters appeared to be preoccupied, leading to delays in getting their attention when we needed something.
It's important for a restaurant of this caliber to have well-trained and attentive waitstaff who can enhance the overall dining experience. While the delicious food somewhat made up for the service hiccups, I believe improving the waiter services would take this place from great to exceptional.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the incredible food, but I hope the management takes note of the service aspects and works on refining the waitstaff's performance. With a bit of attention in that area, this restaurant could easily become a five-star dining...
Read moreThe restaurant is located prominently and is accessible, the decor is beautiful and welcoming, however the food is a hit and miss. Some dishes were good while some were a huge disappointment. The service was extremely poor, we had to repeatedly ask for cutlery and napkins, water glasses and even to change our plates between courses. Very few servers available and when asked about dishes, they couldnât answer.
The corn tikki was quite dry, although flavourful. The pav bhaji fondue was horrible and yet, every other table had ordered it because it looked nice. The bhaji didnât taste like anything, it was lumpy and just red in colour with a bitter aftertaste. The pav was cut in squares and skewered. The dish was presented well but lacked any taste. The water chestnut dish was a good one. The paneer pasanda and butter roti was a great combo and the pasanda was a delicious treat, however the Alfredo pasta was a huge letdown. The sauce was watery, the pasta overcooked and there was absolutely no cheese. The masala buttermilk was also very average with no trace of masala and the fresh lime soda was also poorly made. All in all, very...
Read moreWe recently visited Corner of joy restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. To start, we ordered cheese corn balls that were absolutely terribleâcompletely lacking in flavor and freshness.
The next dishes, tacos đź and Mexican quesadillas, were equally unimpressive. Shockingly, they had the same fillings, making it feel like we were eating the same dish in different forms. To make matters worse, the soya chaap shawarma had nothing to do with what the name suggestedâit was just another version of the same monotonous filling.
The lack of creativity, taste, and authenticity in the dishes left us very frustrated. For what we paid, it was absolutely not worth it. After this terrible experience, we decided to visit Health Juice Centre to cleanse our palates and bring our taste buds back to life.
We wouldnât recommend Joy of the Corner to anyoneâit was one of the most disappointing dining experiences weâve had. Save your time and money for...
