I love to do staycation with my whole group so we search good hotels at reasonable rate where rooms & surrounding area should be good. Well that dissapointed a bit but the hospitality was so good that I tend to ignore such small things. Whole staff was so generous & friendly that really impressed me. Rooms was not that big but the view from odd number room is bad it's just a mall wall so the room is slightly on darker side. Most frustrating part about this place was the AC. Despite of small room the AC tooked many hours to make this place cool. I didn't understand the logic of placing the vents away from bed also the fan was missing & you can't open the windows so it was really frustrating. Also you can order from other delivery application which was a good thing. Room service was quick even during midnight they were on thier toes with the service. Apart from AC this place is amazing & i will definitely consider this place for my future staycation.

I hope that the management takes these points into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more satisfying stay for future guests.

I recently stayed at Fortune Select Exotica and would rate my experience at 3 stars. The hotel's location is indeed great, offering convenient access to various attractions. Never interested in writing review on any social media but I have to write this time because of the worst services provided by this hotel. So it's my first review ever on any social media..I had 2 days plan to stay in mumbai with my parents. First day, I was travelling alone from Pune to this hotel and my parents were joining me on 2nd day early morning and since the hotel will not allow check in to my parents before 12PM, I planned to book 1 room with 3 adults for 2 complete days. room rent for 2 persons for one day was 5600 and for 3 persons 7500 INR. So it cost me 15k for 2 days. Below are the incidents happened with me during my 2 days stay at this hotel, You guys can decide whether they were good or bad.

  1. their check-in time is at 2PM, I reached at 5PM but they do not have courtesy to call their guests whether they are coming to their hotel or not.
  2. I hired private cab from Pune to reach to this hotel. The cab was swift dzire. The security person at main gate was soooo lazy to open the gate and expression of the security at main gate was awful. (Probably, they are trained to welcome their guests with smile only if guests come in Mercedes, BMW or Audi).
  3. As I reached to this hotel from Pune, the cab fare was 1700INR. I forgot to pay online during my cab ride (my mistake.. accepted!). My cab driver did not have change so I asked at hotel's reception for change of 2000 rupees note but the "ITC group" hotel does not have 4 notes of 500 RS!!
  4. when I checked in and went to my room, there was literally smell of smoking inside.(probably they wanted me to take the feel of authenticity of real "Indian Tobacco Company hotel", they had smoking detector as well in the room BTW).
  5. there were only 2 twin beds in the room and the room was not at all ready for 3 persons at 5PM also. (I think, they were aware of my complete plan and they knew that my parents were joining on 2nd day, so they thought not to prepare room for three persons).
  6. because of the smoking smell, I asked them to give me another room which has 2 joined beds for my parents whenever they come and I asked to hotel staff to add 3rd single bed for me.(BTW, it was my mistake that I choosed twin bed room while booking but I think the hotel should have facility to at least join beds. I was not asking for king size bed). They simply refused to join beds because the table between two twin beds is fixed and immovable and they did not have such room where they can join beds and furthermore their hotel which has 6 floors and more than 20 rooms on each floor was completely booked for two days!!! (I think, I am lucky for the hotel). So their hotel with more than 100 rooms, was completely booked but they do not have change of 2000rs when I requested to pay for my cab fare. After all these discussion, they finally provided me another room which has 2 separate twin beds.
  7. the room was very very very common and there was not a single thing which proves that the cost of room is 7500INR per day. Only one unique thing I found in the room was weighing machine!!!! (May be they want you to check regularly how much weight you have lost from your wallet!!).
  8. they did not even do housekeeping in my room for a single time for two complete days!! They just came in my room to check if I have consume anything from "refreshments" so that they can charge me!!
  9. the size of the twin bed is just bigger than the Indian railways train berth..
  10. there was always water spilling on the floor in washroom, I don't know from where!! (Now, I am learning the art of plumbing because I can see clear vacancy for plumber in the ITC group hotel). I asked them to clean but they did not even come to check once.
  11. the only good thing I found was, whenever any staff member will see you, they will greet you with "namaste". (I bet, if you will even pop out your head at 3AM from your room, you will hear the voice of "namaste"...

I stayed here for 3 days for my brother's wedding. We had seen the infrastructure beforehand and it seemed well suited. In-room lighting was low. Can you function in it, yes. Can you click pictures in it, no! Also, there is one panel to switch on the lights which isn't calibrated correctly. If I wanted to switch on the passage light, bedside light would come on. Their services were sloppy and food was of poor taste. Reception - it took 20-30 minutes to allot a room to one guest/couple. Imagine the queue that formed because their processing speed was that of a snail. Room service was very slow. It could take anywhere up to an hour to get fulfilled. Usual response of the servers was to say 'No, we don't have this/that'. Instance - we requested for whiskey glasses but were given tall juice glasses and on requesting to change the same, server said no we don't have them. (This is when the hotel has a bar.) Ironing - We wanted clothes ironed. They don't have in-house ironing so it's outsourced. It takes more than 24 hours to get it done for 600/- a garment and if you want Express which is essentially the same day but not within a few hours, it's 1200/- a garment. Food - perpetually cold and full of garlic and am not talking about just the wedding dinner but their everyday buffet too. If you take garlic out, it was tasteless food. In-room dining - some of the guests ordered but no signature was taken on their bills and in some cases they asked for immediate clearance in cash/card. I could be wrong but I have always signed all bills and cleared them at the time of check-out. Accounts - messed up billing. We had to stand for hours and get it corrected.
