I recently visited this cake shop and had mixed feelings about my experience. While the quality of the cakes was good, the poor service from the staff left a bitter taste in my mouth. The service was incredibly slow. Despite the shop not being crowded, it took an unreasonable amount of time for my order to be prepared even after coordinating with the person over the phone. This has happened more a than just a few times. The staff has never been able to provide me with a bill for any of my purchases on time. It takes multiple calls and visit to get an invoice for the purchase. The poor service overshadowed the overall experience. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism from the staff left me feeling disappointed. Yes. The cakes and the brownies that we tasted here are certainly tasty and fresh, too. It is centrally located in the vasantkunj market, almost opposite to Bhatnagar school.

But, the size of the store is very small. Forget about space for you to sit and eat, space is scarce even if suddenly there are 4 customers in the store.

Another problem is that there are too many stray dogs in front of the store. I have seen one of the boys playing with those dogs outside (you can see in the pics address along). This raises questions about the cleanliness of the store.

Ordered the Belgian Evasion pastry and Truffle Exotique pastry. Both of them were really good, however, I'm not really fond of cream or mousse like texture while having cake. The flaky almonds added the subtle crunch, however, there are also butterscotch and caramel crunchies inside which are not too overpowering. For those who like cruchiness while having a cake can certainly opt for this one. But, for me the clear winner was the truffle cake. The dense chocolate cake which was moist and soft with a melt in the mouth texture was mind blowing.
