Indira International Inn — Hotel in New Delhi

We had booked two rooms here due to we have a patient for surgery in nearby hospital. The only objective of booking was to sleep at night only. After checking in we gone to hospital and then came back in the night for sleep . But In the morning when we entered in to the washroom it was filled with complete bad smell reasons unknown but because we have to go to early to the hospital we managed in to one room for bath (4 people). Also in other room water was flowing in to the room from washroom. And it was a completely mess all over the floor . Later we given the other room key at the desk and checked out at 7 am. In continuation to this we have booked only one room for next day. The staff was changed and they have no idea while we have already informed them when we have checked out (communication gap) . The called me on to the reception and they were checking for booking Id and took around 15-20 min I don't know what they were finding. May be due to our attire ( our hectic schedule at hospital) they were doubting on our booking...and staff on the next day has very bad attitude he doesn't even know in which profession he is . And how he should behave..not everyone is coming to Hotel for picnic, someone might have some medical emergency also and they are not in position to understand in which mental trauma someone is going on...they were constantly asking about how many guests you have how while for only two hours we have five persons . And they asked us to leave guest early as possible without taking any acknowledgement that we also know the rules and gone through the receipt we have. And more guest won't...

Good place for one night stay for single occupancy. But not worth the money. The room costs are too high. I had booked a standard room, room was small but clean and had a balcony. Washroom was clean. No smell was there apart from the strong Room freshner smell of chemicals when we entered. Room service is available. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Both veg and non veg options are available Minimal veg items and everything in that menu overpriced. I ordered one paneer parotha for breakfast for Rs.110/-. It was good.

To reach this hotel, Google maps will bring you to a narrow lane on left from the main road. This lane of 80 mtrs is very narrow, little difficult for 4 wheeler to get in.

But if you don't bother about those 80mtr path, it's quite good and well maintained inside. Enough parking space just in front of the hotel. Quite and not much disturbance from the road...

Don't go by the small lane in which it is located since its exclusively used by the hotel. Once you reach the end of the lane, there is a big sprawling parking & an open garden space too ! Now who can get such free space in a prime locality like Vasnt Kunj? It's very near to Vasant Square mall & the location is damn perfect. In room dining order is served fast & the food is tasty too ! Rooms, common spaces , lift are neat & clean! The staff (Ravi from the kitchen) got so used to my early morning bed tea that they would bring my bed tea without even ordering at 5 am sharp. Complimentary breakfast is also served in room. You can order anything worth Rs. 150 daily. Loved it ! Very economical & highly recommended especially for bachelors/business travellers as airport is also 15mins drive. Check...
