Salad Chef at C Block Market Vasant Vihar is a joint venture of Chef Sanjay Agrawal and Rakesh...Ex Chef's from Taj and running it successfully since the year 1993 , nearly 28 years in operations now which is commendable indeed. They started it when no one else had ever thought about it no other Foreign brands had entered here. They actually started the concept of Salad bars in buffet and it is an important section now in every buffet with a variety of fresh salads.

Best thing is they make their own salad dressings and each and every dish on the menu had retained the flavors and tastes consistently for years now. Menu is quite elaborate with Soup, Salads, Pastas, Burger, Sandwiches, Quesadillas, Rolls n Paninis. The menu also has Juices, Shakes, Smoothies, Ice tea Coffee and few desserts as well.

Their Cold Coffee is a must have which is a real Coffee with nice aroma and good flavor of Coffee which one doesn't get good in many known Cafe's even. I love salads n Chicken Caesar Salad is my all time favorite which was great with large portion size and full of big chicken chunks ... usually in many places one had to really search for chicken in the salad.

We tried their Smoked chicken salami sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and Jerk Chicken burger which were both nice. Their Chana Masala Sandwich is also a hot selling one.

We carried home the Greek Salad and dressing was given separately so even after 5 - 6 hours the salad was absolutely fresh with a nice crunch.

Wish I was staying close to their outlet ... then would have ordered atleast one salad meal per day ... a very reasonably...

Salad 🥗, a healthy food, we generally take it alongwith  our meal whereas, our one meal should be only Salad, if not everyday, can be alternate day to maintain our body weight and be healthy, this awavekning if one gets at any point of time, is good. And now after this pendamic it is become all the more important to make your immune system strong, so the salad is one step towards that, to get all the nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins.

There is no need to introduce to Delhiiets about Salad Chef outlet in Vasant vihar C Block Market, running by Chef Sanjay Agarwal recipient of many laurels and Chef Rakesh, for almost three decades. Only while maintaining your standards and consistency, you can sustain for long.

Here you get many options of Salads, Sandwich, Panini, Burger, Pasta,Soups, juices,......... and the best part is that here they make their own variety of sauces and dips, all with fresh ingredients.

Perfect Cold Coffee, with flavour n froth intact, we had here after a long time. Few from the menu ....we relished, the best of Chicken Caesar Salad, Greek Salad, Smoked Chicken Salami Sandwich, Chana Masala Sandwich, Jerk Chicken Burger, ofcourse we shared, can't have all this in one go by one person.

Home delivery is available in vicinity. Pricing is quite reasonable and pocket friendly. So just start visiting this place again and make it a habit of having...

Possibly the worst food I've had in India, I had the tofu salad and the Cesar salad, with the fruit smoothie and pineapple smoothie. The fruit smoothie had a strong bitter taste no fruit flavours at all. The salads were just plain horrible, no distinct flavours, I was at least expecting some cool fresh cheese considering it was the Cesar Cheese, no. I noticed I had jalapenos in my salad, but I couldn't taste it, perhaps the salads are not fresh? I noticed there were a lot of foreigners here, perhaps they think this is what people eat locally, I can only suspect the USP is the 'Health' benefit, it must be the only thing carrying this business. It's certainly not the flavour. The only half decent tasting food I had was the palak soup that came free...
