The Golden Dragon — Restaurant in New Delhi

Yesterday i visited with my two friends at Dragon Vasant Vihar, it was an experiment at here first time, mainly we were visiting a BAR, Beer price is ok but if 25% vat include its going to be costly because if you purchase direct from liquor shop it will be 140 Rs and Dragon charge it for 245, so it will be ok but including after that GST / VAT, it will be costly, so first opinion is that. Second opinion about staff it was rude as compared with other outlets (not whole staff), here I am taking here “Teju” and senior one “Umesh Sir”. Like Umesh Sir judged and treated and his tones also explained that. And “Teju” is one of the personality who contain boldness, high volume, politeness level is 0%. The incident is that I am corporate employee and I have Sodexo card (Pluxee), before I visit Dragon Vasant Vihar I have two confirmation Pluxee also confirm me that it is listed outlet. Dragon help desk personal also confirm me that “yes Sodexo card is acceptable, if I am say another word like “you can come here sir, we will try to swipe Sodexo, lets see its working or not” But here Mr “Teju” strictly and lauded refuse my request to at least try to swipe card into Machine, he was laud as nears two table also got attracted, so some kind of fear of humiliation and nonsense conversation I got understand I have to close this conversation, then I had to close conversation with Teju nearest environment get attracted. He repeatedly and strictly refuses my multiple requests and not gives me a single chance to swipe my card into machine. (like dominos and KFC outlet also refuse my request that Sodexo card is not acceptable but when I request them to try me, they will give me a permission / chance, I will done my transaction successfully) However, environment...

Lovely and huge well maintained place for dining and having good time. Although there are hardly any one when I visited yesterday evening being a week end.

I have ordered a rice item and got that packed. The shock of the life... Being such a nice restaurant, they did packed the item in a thin polythene bag which is hot then. I didn't noticed it till the time i reached home as it is kept in a cardboard box. When i was hungry back home .. I was confused as if i got it packed by a road side biryani wala or by a nice class restaurant. After paying 520 rupees of you pack it like a 10 rupees one which will come there guys?

So, only one suggestion is not to opt for a takeout. I didn't ate it feeling the plastic might got melted in to the rice item due to the heat. I don't know who gave this a FSSAI certification too for such a stupid packing.

The quantity of the item ordered was good and more than sufficient for 1 person.

It had a nice and spacious dining hall spread over two floors and staff are understanding and cooperative. Management needs to improve its packing quality far more than the current standards pls.

Ambience and washrooms are...

I don’t know… first time we were here I felt a bit ignored but didn’t make a big deal out of it. Christmas Day we came back for a second time in the American-Jewish tradition of having Asian food on Christmas Day. It was the same thing. Felt ignored. We ordered 2 beers and we tried to order our food but our waited walked away after taking our drink order. We had already waited 10-15 min for that. Plus the holiday menu had hard alcohol and mock tails but we were told we couldn’t have cocktails or mock tails. 🤦🏾‍♀️ everything after a 20-30 min wait went smoothly after that. The final straw for me was when I ordered one more beer. When the first 2 large beers were brought out, they were just handed to us. When I asked for 1 more beer after our meal the waiter brought it, popped it open, and poured half into my husbands glass and half into mine. 😡 so it was ok to have a full beer before without assistance but not ok to have a second beer without assistance from the waiter and apparently my husband. 🙄 don’t come here if you’re a tourist. Food is decent. Don’t bother...
