I was staying at Hyatt Delhi and they recommended that I try this "Japanese" restaurant when asked for good sushi recommendations I reserved table for 9:30 pm as soon as I checked in ... We were seated at 10:45 pm. I had mentioned my dairy and gluten allergies about 12 hours in advance ,yet they could barely accommodate me, despite given assurances of the same. The sashimi was ok ... But no pickled ginger or daikon in sight to cleanse the palate. They said that the tenderloin could be made gluten free and dairy free so I ordered that (it was supposed to come with some variant of teriyaki sauce). When the teppanyaki cook started the prep, he said that he would make it with pesto sauce(??? Japanese???) And when i expressed disgust, he assured me that it would be good ... And said that my options were either this or a chilly garlic sauce. I asked them to use their judgement since this was not told me me while placing the order. The tenderloin was badly overcooked and chewy, and the sauce was one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. They offered to make it with the other chilli garlic sauce( the maitre d whined about how it would take 4 hours to make a gluten free dairy free teriyaki... And I informed her about the 12 hour advance heads up I'd given). This version was barely edible, but I was now ravenous as it was approaching midnight, so I had to eat it. The chef's are unskilled and talentless. They should not call this a Japanese restaurant since they seem to not know anything about Japanese cuisine. A perfect evening ruined by amateur management and 3rd rate cooks If I could give it 0 stars I...

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Arriving on time for our reservation at TK’s Oriental Grill, we were promptly seated, but the experience started on a sour note—we had to request water after waiting for some time.
We ordered two set menus with wine pairings and one vegetarian and one non vegetarian set menu. For a teppanyaki restaurant, the chef’s lack of interaction was surprising. When we mentioned that the food was overly salty, we were told that nothing could be done because “the sauce is salty”—not the level of care you expect at a fine dining establishment.
While a few dishes stood out, the overall quality was average. Shockingly, a dish from the set menu was missed entirely. We weren't asked for our second choice of ice cream, nor were we offered tea or coffee at the end of the meal—something we had to ask for ourselves.
The service felt chaotic, more like a fish market than a fine dining experience. Nearly everyone seemed to be a manager, and our server, who seemed quite new, lacked basic knowledge of the menu.
The atmosphere was rushed, with crowds waiting outside, creating a sense of "eat quickly and leave" so they could turn over the table. This kind of treatment is disappointing, especially from a restaurant housed in a five-star hotel.
Unfortunately, this was not the TK’s we remembered, and it’s not an experience we’d...

First we booked a table for lunch at 2PM, we get a call at 1:48 PM to confirm our reservation to which we said yes. But as soon as we reach there (before 2PM), they ask us to wait.
We go to the bar in the same hotel and wait there. By then we’ve been waiting for a good 30 minutes then we ask someone at the bar if they can go check. Only then do we find out there’s a table, the restaurant never called.
Once at the restaurant we find out our table is yet again not ready and they are asking us to wait for another few minutes.
When we FINALLY get a table there is no server asking for our order and we have to ask the manager for someone to take our order.
They did not explain the menu at all. As we had wanted a set menu only to find out it’s not available for Sunday brunch. Then when we finally decide what we want and ask the server to take our order they restrict us and tell us we cannot share with each other.
This is not our first time here and every time we’ve been we have been able to share set menus. This is ridiculous at this point. Not to mention it’s like a fish market in there and we knew we won’t have a good experience so we just up and left.
This was just a bad experience overall bad service, no food and worst of all made us wait for...
